First day of work in her new office! Honey's new company is full of young up and coming computer geniuses and she felt right at home.

One member, Oak, didn't have as much programing knowledge as Honey so she became a mentor to him and wondered if that was her next move - mentoring and teaching, once she reached to top of the company - which she's sure will happen soon.

Honey is done with uni! She graduated top of her class with an A+ GPA as well captain of the E-Sports team. She was a gained a genius trait to boot. She was instantly recruited by The Next Big Thing tech company and prepared to leave her academic life.

With her savings and the large bonus from her new employer, she managed to get a cute 1 bedroom apt near her new office. Best of all, her collage bestie Fredricka, newly minted chef, has an apartment in the same building. Honey may only have $36 to her name but she's excited to start her new life.

However, she had a burger the first night in apartment! Before the police could get there, Honey successfully took care it herself.

Don't mess with this tough babe.

Sadly, halfway through Honey's final year she received devastating news. First Cricket the dog, then Arion the horse, then finally Cara all passed away within a few hours of each other.

(I seriously got the message Cara had died 5x, but she hadn't. So I finally loaded back into the household and she immediately died. Thanks Sims for making me witness it.)

Honey, as per tradition, hosted the funeral for Cara, giving a beautiful eulogy for her beloved mother. Bradly was shocked and devastated; he was older than Cara and never expected to have her go before him.

But he had been unexpectedly granted more bonus days and will be around a bit longer.

Rest in peace champs.

Honey excelled at everything she did - in high school , she became both the president of the computer team as well as a top game streamer, not to mention acing all her exams. She, of course, was accepted to the Foxbury in computer science distinguished degree program and immediately joined the e-sports team

She made friends too, including her two besties Fredricka and Nicole.

However, romance seemed to elude her. Her friends, especially Fredricka, had a new partner every other week, but it didn't appeal to Honey at all. She decided it was a distraction and her work gave her more pleasure.

Honey is all ready to go for her generation goals! This ambitious gal has spent her time as a child maxing skills and achieving aspirations, just preparing herself to go far in the world (already finished 2 aspirations, Mind + Body and Wiz Kid). She isn't a fan of nature, unlike her parents & siblings - she's ready to get out of this small town! As soon as she became a teen, she joined the Computer Team as well as becoming Video Game Streamer for a side hustle. She's excited to max as many skills as possible!

I'm excited to start this generation! It's totally different than Cara's but still fun for me. However, I'm finding some bugs with Business & Hobbies and the Master Mentor aspiration since the patch update - I grabbed the mod fix for the white board, but when asking a small business owner to start a class, they don't lecture. Honey was still able to get gold...however apparently getting gold doesn't count as getting bronze in 3 classes. I plan on just cheating it though, because that's just stupid.

ETA: logged in today and the gold level class did count, as did the silver level, and the small business owner did actually start the class with a lecture.

I don't know how many players gotten this far already, because of the Ambitious trait not being able to use for Teens but I'm going to try to gain it and Overachiever fits exactly the type of storyline I have in mind. I didn't see any conversations online about it and I guess I could have just missed it. Not excited about Hates Children but I'm going to do my best.

Also I know her main outfit is more white than yellow but I didn't like the way the others clashed with her hair. And I liked that outfit on her, plus I think it shows how different she is from the rest of her family - wearing white on a working farm.

Also, I plan on skipping gen 5; I don't own Bust the Dust and nothing about this gen sounds fun and I don't want to play that deeply with For Rent. So Honey's child will be Tomato - plus that gen works with the Fairy pack, if i decide to get it.

Cara came up from a teen runaway with few funds to a be the owner of a huge working ranch and a beloved horse trainer. While most of her money came from entering competitions and odd jobs with her champion horse Arion, she also grew magnificent carrots and pumpkins that the locals clamber for. She is proud to say she built most of the furniture herself and lived off the grid, though recently with the birth of her 3 children, she finally agreed to be connected to the grid again.

She did reconnect with her father Aubrey late in his life and kept a strong, if distant relationship with her mother Joslyn and her new family. Both her parents and Aubrey's husband Manuel are now buried at the same cemetery as Cara's grandmother Dana.

Her first love will always be her family - horses Arion, Hurricane, and baby Sassafras, loyal dog Cricket, life partner Bradley, children Honey, Sunshine, and Acorn, llama Misty, mini orange sheep Daisy, goats Bert and Ernie, and multiple chickens. Even though her generation goals are complete, she aspires to continue to be a Country Caretaker and grow her ranch and farm even more.

However, her daughter Honey is more than ready to take up the Very Veggie mantle.

However, she'll have to wait until she's at least a teen to get truly started. Originally she wanted to be a bee, but has since her family is back on the grid, she has discovered a love of video games and everything to do with nerd culture.

I still think she looks cute as a bee.

This was so much fun to play and I would forget to take screenshots. I love Cara - in fact, she's my girl to work through the Nature's Calling event in a separate save. The horse training took forever and was very grindy but we managed to get Arion to level 10 in all skills (with a little "age down potion" aka MCCC cheat to make sure it happened). Cara also has an age down potion she may use if I don't feel Honey is ready to start and the other kids are ready to be on their own, since Honey will be off to college.

After much hard work from both Cara and Arion, the took FIRST PLACE in the Master Horse competition! They failed the first two times so this was a sweet victory.

There was another surprise too, Hurricane & Arion welcomed their very own little one later that day - Sassafras!

Bradley proposed not long before Cara aged up and moved in. It was nice to have an extra hand around the farm, as it had now grown to include Misty the Llama, Daisy the orange sheep, Bert & Ernie the mini goats and a bunch of chickens.

It kept them busy, but Cara kept up with Arion's training.

And Cara & Bradley kept busy on cold winter nights. They welcomed their daughter Honey, with the twins Sunshine and Acorn following soon after.

The family was complete...almost.

One day while riding, Cara ran into her neighbor Bradly Lawson.

Bradly was also rancher and horse lover, which made him easy to talk to, despite Cara's shyness around strangers. He invited them back to meet his horse Hurricane.

Arion immediately hit it off with Hurricane too.

The start of a beautiful romance.

This is my favorite generation, I'm having so much fun and not really taking screenshots. Cara has maxed Horse Riding (and Handiness), thanks to living on a micro home and Arion has level 8 or9 in all horse skills. They've competed in 15+ competitions, taking gold in 3 Master competitions. With that & her carrot farming, she's been able to build up a home.

She's close to aging up to an adult...and there's a handsome cowboy living right next door...

Cara Pepper Generation 3: Your parents weren’t exactly great role models for love, and you’ve always struggled with human connection. Cara couldn't be more different than her father Aubrey. Growing up, Aubrey tried to get Cara to love what he did - fashion and popularity especially - but when she decided it wasn't her thing, he mocked her for preferring a book and faded jeans. As a child and an early teen, she had her beloved grandmother Dana to run to and confide in. Dana inspired her find her own style, and not to care what the rest of the world thought.

Unfortunately after Dana passed away, Cara felt lost again. School was filled with bullies who laughed her unfashionable clothes and her love of horses. She spent a lot of her time crying in the bathroom, still devastated by the loss of her grandmother. Home was no better, with constant fights with her father.

After a particularly brutal fight, Cara had enough. She was given the option to graduate high school early so that night she simply left home with just enough of the money her grandmother had left her to buy a plot of land away from everyone in Chestnut Ridge.

There was room for a greenhouse and a stable, now she just needs to earn some money to make her dreams come true.

This evil dum-dum. While very proud of his wine cellar and especially of his giant eggplants (heh), he spent most of his time romancing anyone who came across his path, breaking up marriages and smashing hearts with little regard to anyone.

He got an offer for a huge inheritance if he got married, and it so happened that his current partner Joslyn happened to be pregnant so he took the money and gained a family.

Note, he also had other kids around the world. He has not met them.

Unsurprising, it didn't last long.

They constantly argued about everything in front of their (very adorable) daughter Cara. Finally, Joselyn, fed up with Aubrey's constant cheating, took off and moved back to Tomarang but Cara stayed, mainly because her beloved grandmother Dana moved in.

However, once Aubrey's wild ways began to get dull, he met his soulmate in neighbor Manuel Pepper.

And they lived happily ever after.

This generation was so tedious and was so annoyed with it. It just seemed to take forever and honestly got a little boring. I started to hate the whole thing, and it's why i didn't take many screenshots. But I completed it honestly and now I'm excited to start with Cara, which is more how I like to play.

Also, it's funny, the rules state to dress gen 2 in the eggplant costume for all outfits, but I just did it as one of his sleepwear. But I got a weird bug where his profile pic was constantly that damn eggplant, even when he wasn't wearing it.

So I guess that worked.

I did end up switching save games because I was getting a lot of bugs/lag with the save file I was using (downloaded). I think there was just too many elaborately decorated lots, along with a lot of residential residentials.

Gen 1 Completed!

Dana finished within a few days of her adulthood. She is a true artist, dabbling in different crafts, most recently in designing jewelry. However she is more than ready to to pass the torch to her son Aubrey, who became a teen the day the business hit 5 stars.

Aubrey Pepper Generation 2: Everyone won’t shut up about romance. All day every day you have to listen to weird suggestive eggplant jokes, people complaining about their partners, or even worse: them going on and on about their happy little relationships. You’re sick of it! Love is dead, and you’re going to prove it. You decide your life goal is to ruin as many relationships as possible. Well, at least when you’re off the clock. You can’t exactly quit your day job. Relationship saver by day, relationship ruiner by night.

But no, he won't be wearing the eggplant costume for all of his outfits. Sorry simisie.

Dana started in this world with nothing but a empty lot in Magnolia Promenade. Slowly but surely, she build her business as an artist, first in an open air shop, then to a thriving business, teaching classes and selling her artwork and knitted toys and decorations.

She soon fell in love and married a spa specialist Nale. They were happy for a time, with Nale's opening their own spa space with Dana while Dana added tattooing as an additional activity. After the birth of their son Aubrey, Nale began to feel neglected, with Dana spending every waking moment either working to improving her small business or taking care of Aubrey. Nail finally had enough when Aubrey was a toddler. They started having an affair with a spa regular and finally blew up at Dana, who had no idea things had gotten so bad.

They tried therapy but neither felt there was a way past this. Nale left, taking half the business and set up with their new girlfriend in a different town. Devastated but determine to carry on, Dana worked even harder on her goal of a 5 star business, little knowing how this would affect her son Aubrey's development...

Current progress

Need 4 more Legendary Knits to finish the aspiration.

Pepper's Paints & More currently at 4.5 stars. Added pottery as tattooing wasn't really getting any traction.

Playing on short lifespans (started on Normal, changed to Short). Dana is currently ages up to an adult in 2 days.

I wasn't going to post this, so I hadn't taken many screenshots but I'm enjoying it more than I expected, I decided to start writing it down. It's been so long since I've posted here and while I've missed it, I've been all over the place with Sims4 gameplay.

I'll probably just check in occasionally.

I really dislike the Lovestruck romance changes (I'll usually cheat it back up to full when it drops for no reason) but in this case it worked out for the gen 2 story and Nale was beginning to annoy me anyway. They ended up being very attracted to a spa regular and it fit in with the Unsatisfied Relationship, while Dana was perfectly Satisfied. So, divorce time. Also one change for the next gen, I don't think I'll put Aubrey in the eggplant suit for every outfit, maybe just one of the sleeping outfits.

I haven't been playing Sims much or when I do, I'm jumping from save to save and not taking screenshots. However, I did complete the Every Life Stage Challenge, following James Turner's rules. Naturally, i used Iggy Pancakes, who i just can't quit.

Since I was already follow James Turner's rules, I figured I may as well continue with his Tiny Town too. I was already planning on doing Deligracy's Tiny Town but I like this set up better. I am using her lot though, but doing it as a rental, so only 6 so far because I'm scared of breaking my save with rental cheats/mods.

And James's Tiny Town cards are so cute!

I had to change/adapt some of the hobbies to make money, so they all have their original hobby & their money making one (Colin - fitness, Julian - gardening, Theo - rocket science, Joanna - knitting, Maxwell - baking. Daisy doesn't have a second hobby, but she has the easiest time with money with painting and all the other skills she has, plus has her husband & baby with her.

I spun the wheel to who goes first & it's Joanna. It's been really fun so far, but tough to make money right now, with both music & with knitting.

Oh and I thought I'd make one for Julian's dog too.

Home Chef Midcentury Home

Eccentric artist Frederica Ortiz has one dream - to be the best home chef around. She and her two very spoiled cats Bobie and Paco have moved to San Sequoia to a dream house that she decorated in her favorite mid century funky style. Build on the Sequoia Cottage lot and playtested,it includes 1 bedroom, 1.5 bath, large living space perfect for entertaining, chef kitchen, a detached garage and plenty of room for the kitties

Felt like building and really hadn't used the new pack all that much. I've been really into mid century builds (love Atomic Ranch) and I combined the two. Decided I wanted lots of color & fun furnishings; the kitchen is my favorite (and my dream TBH) but I love the rest of the house too.

I'm a bit obsessed with this house so now I want to play in it. I love my Sims I created for it too. (I always need a Sim in mind when I build). So maybe I will try out the Home Chef Hustle gameplay with Frederica and her cats.

Bobie & Paco both love the house too.

No CC, but I have all the build packs (except Bust the Dust) and I use freely from them all - mainly the ones you would think for this decor - lots of Bowling Night, Get Famous, Dream Home Decorator, Movie Hangout, Decor to the Max and of course, Home Chef Hustle. Don't worry, the only Batuu item is a cute little cat (i think?) statue in the bedroom.
