why kara thinks lena is like a cat, an ongoing list:

The Big Stretch

when lena wakes up, she wakes up quietly and blinks slowly like a cat. she yawns and her face gets all scrunchy cute, she stretches big and lazy. her shirt slides up high enough that kara can see her belly, then higher and higher until the curves of her breasts become visible. the action makes kara smile, can’t help it, and she coos, buries her face in lena’s tummy. like streaky. like a cat, so cute, so cute. the soft kisses and belly rubs make lena laugh, and lena gets tiny tiny really fast next to kara. tiny, like she wants to be cuddled now. of course, kara delivers.

Favourite Lap of Choice: Kara

lena seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to kara. it's as if lena just knows when kara has decided to sit down on the couch or bed. it’s… it’s—bizarre, but kara’s not about to question her. like a lap has just been formed for her, lena senses it and appears in front of kara moments later, grinning attractively, flirtatiously—playfully before crawling into kara's lap, distracting kara from reading her book.

If I Fits, I Sits

once lena is settled and comfy and happily warm against kara, she simply Will Not Move. like a cat, she drapes herself over kara’s lap longing for attention. she cups kara's face at first, grins, then nuzzles her nose into kara's neck and pressing as closely to kara as she can. mouths at kara's neck for comfort; little bites and soothing them with her tongue because, well. kara is right here, pliant and lovely and, darling, you smell really nice. 

it’s a Lena Thing, kara supposes at this point. nibbling at kara’s skin here and there, hiding and squishing her face against kara’s neck whenever she wants. undeniably it’s a love language of hers. you’re cute, kara tells her quietly, and lena only lets out a quiet mmh, body melting. it’s nice. lena’s soft and pretty. things get quiet quiet quiet, and then. and then, and then. kara feels lena smile against her skin, and this time lena does not nibble, no. she fully bites kara’s neck—lena!

Impossible to Coax Away

lena “i will find a way to nap on kara” luthor sleeps on kara, and kara just doesn't have the heart to move her. meaning, kara will simply stay put. even when her legs start to numb (solar-flared), even when her stomach is grumbling loudly, begging for food. oh well. it’s okay. kara doesn’t need her legs and food, guess she’ll just die.

It’s Free Real Estate

lena constantly puts her ice cold hands and feet on kara's very warm skin and then smiles gummy, double dimples flashing when kara turns to look at her. so fucking cute. when lena likes you, she’s the softest.

Boopable Nose

very boopable nose. boopable/10. “lena? congrats for winning #1 most boopable nose,” kara tells her one night. lena’s frowning. kara’s smiling. kara boops her once, twice. on the third boop, lena catches kara’s finger in her mouth in retaliation, as if she had enough of booping. once again, like a cat. so, kara miscalculated. realizing that she has over-booped her favourite human, she yelps, lena, i’m sorry—may i please have my finger back—
