Learning a second language is fun and challenging. But you can only get so much out of a textbook. I will be posting Japanese words (along with pronunciation and explanation) that I learned through talking to native Japanese speakers and reading visual kei blogs, lyrics, and twitters. Obscure, funny, and dirty words that you probably won't find in your textbook. Enjoy! (Note: I tag explicit sexual words as "Dirty Words" in case you want to filter those out)

Note
Could you explain conjugations like:- たい, られる, て, ます, etc?
Okay, I’ll try my best to explain!
たい: For when you want to do something.  チーズバーガーを食べたい。 (I want to eat a cheeseburger)
られる: Passive form. For when something is done to you.先生に叱られた。 (I was scolded by my teacher)
られる can also be potential form for る verbs.信じられない。 (I can’t believe it)
て: This has many, many different meanings. USUALLY we see it used in polite requests.聞いてください。 (Please listen to me)
ます: The polite way to end a verb. Use this with anyone you aren’t sure is your friend, age group, etc. Some people may give you a hard time for using polite speech, in which case it’s okay to just use informal speech.帰ります。 (I’m going home)
And here’s a couple more, just because.
ながら: Doing two things at the same time. The more important verb, or main focus of the sentence is always second.音楽を聴きながらゲームをしている。 (I’m listening to music while I play video games)
させる: To make someone do something, or to let someone do something.息子に野菜を食べさせる。 (I make my son eat vegetables)テレビを見させる。 (I’m allowed to watch TV)
Hope this helps. If you want more in-depth explanations of conjugations, I’d be willing to do individual posts about each conjugation. Just send me another message with requests.
