Out of curiosity, why is it like half a year between chapters? I had the impression the whole story is already written out.

This has been talked about in other places, especially our patreon: BARBAROUS isn't our only job! We publish the comic online for free with no publisher and no hosting platform paying us. (Except for our patrons on Patreon, thank you guys!) Additionally, since 2023 Yuko (the artist) has been dealing with some long-term health issues that have been taking a long time to recover from.

As for the other things we've also been working on, here are some books we've published recently! BUZZ Color edition (Oni Lionforge), Greater Secrets (Randomhouse Graphic/Penguin Randomhouse), Lucky Penny Color Edition (Oni Lionforge), Pixels Of You (Amulet/Abrams Books), Third Imp (self).

We've also both been working on the game Fields of Mistria, with Ananth working as Senior Writer and Yuko working as Character and Environmental Concept Artist. It released last year into early access, and we're both still working on the updates!

There's also a bunch of NDA work we've both done that can't be talked about publicly. Will any of it ever be made public? Honestly I have no idea, sometimes that's the way things shake out!
