“RAINY DAYS IN LA”
“RAINY DAYS IN LA” WATERPARKS X ADAM&STEVE
March 8, 2019, Rainy Days In LA was released showing more of a pop side of the band Waterparks which consists of lead man Awsten Knight, guitarist Geoff Wigington and drummer Otto Wood. Hints of the song had been dropped weeks in advance from both the lead singer of Waterparks Awsten Knight and one of his close friends Elijah Daniel. When the song was announced it was made known that it would be a collaboration between adam&steve and Waterparks giving you the vibe that it was going to have more of an electronic pop sound compared to Waterparks previous pop-punk/alternative sound. The same day of the song being released Elijah Daniel tweeted the music video link. The music video consists of videos collected of Awsten while on tour since they weren’t able to actually get together and film one.
Rainy Days In LA is a song about someone who can’t get over their ex-significant other. They compare it to a Rainy Day In LA saying that those days cause them to remember the way they used to be and causes this nostalgic type feeling to happen. It also gives off the hint that they aren’t over them and would much rather have them back with the lyrics “All I do is miss you, all I do is want you back”
Although Waterparks may be a smaller upcoming band they are growing day by day with Awsten dropping hints of an upcoming album called “Friendly Reminder” we couldn’t be more excited to hear the sound they go with on their upcoming album.

“SUCKER”
“SUCKER” JONAS BROTHERS
February 28, 2019, was the day the Jonas Brothers decided to shock the world by announcing their new single “Sucker” would be released at midnight while announcing their comeback after six years of solo experience.
February 29, 2019, Sucker was released along with a music video to go along with the single. When you first start the song you can already tell that it is going to have a different sound than their previous music. The single has a lot more of Nick’s vocals compared to many of their previous singles. The vocals on the song are flawless, but honestly were we expecting anything less? The music video gave off the early S.O.S vibes while still giving it the boyband vibe but at the same time showing that they are more grown and mature now. The song still gives you the pop band feels with a little more electronic vibe in the background.
The title of their song is “Sucker” as mentioned before, the definition of sucker is “a person who is easily gullible or easily deceived” throughout the song you hear them repeat it many times giving off the vibes that they’re easily deceived or gullible for a specific person in their life. Some more lyrics are “Say the word and I’ll go anywhere blindly” confirming the points stated previously.
The Jonas Brothers had a huge impact on many peoples childhood and they have been influential to some of the musical groups today. The lyrics in their songs are simple yet catchy which is why I believe so many people have fallen in love with their music over the years.

MIDNIGHT WORLD TOUR
THE MIDNIGHT WORLD TOUR
Lift, Super Whatevr, With Confidence, Set It Off
Lift was the first band to perform and they did well at getting the crowd hyped up for the bands to come. Lift is an English alternative group that includes 4 members. After their set was over they had a free meet & greet by their merchandise stand, going up to them they seem a bit intimidating but when talking to them you realize they are just normal people living out their dreams. Super Whatevr was the next band to take the stage. Their stage presence was overall great, their songs touched on subjects such as suicide awareness. They also had a meet and greet after their set and they were also sweet guys. Next up was With Confidence who always put on an amazing show got the crowd hyped for Set It Off while still putting on an amazing show with songs from their album "Love And Loathing" "Better Weather" and even some songs off of their EP "Distance." They also had a meet and greet after the concert was over and although I didn't get to meet the lead singer the other members were super sweet and I showed them my tattoo that I had gotten for them a year back. After With Con, Set It Off came on, they put on a pretty decent show and they really knew how to get the crowd to move along with them, their stage presence was great and they interacted with the crowd well. All in all the bands were all amazing and sweet and they all have great music for whatever you're feeling.
