Before you read:

Hello, and welcome to the quest! Before we embark on our journey, there are some things you should know.

- QFTIM creator: I in no way condone anything qftim’s creator did or will do. I just had a huge fixation on this dumb story as a tween, and wanted to bring it back with my own character s and personal touches. This isn’t meant to honour them or show any kind of appreciation for them; if anything, it’s meant as a criticism of how problematic and down right horrible a lot of the things they wrote and drew are. I hope that with this comic I can rewrite that plot in a way that is responsible and just a good time, while holding true to the expectations of an edgy tumblr blog.

- What is this comic?: It’s intend as a rewrite/reimagining of babqftim. It will follow similar characters, a similar story, and have similar beats. However, it won’t just be me redrawing the comic with my Oc’s. These characters are NOT just clones of the original cast. The plot will also differ in some areas, both for personal preference and because some of the original plot just didn’t make sense or made me uncomfortable.

- About updates and asks: I will try to update daily when I’m not busy! While i can’t always answer every ask, I’ll try my best, especially with non-repeated asks.

- SHOUTOUTS!: Thank you to the creator of @batim-boris-and-the-3-layers for supporting my cringe and definitely not sending constant asks. You’re literally the reason this comic exists.

- Trigger warnings: This comic will include topics some may find upsetting or uncomfortable! These include: blood/gore/general gross body things, toxic dynamics, suicidal ideation/ideas, illness (physically and mental), death, mentions of homophobia, violence, cussing and general unkind language

BEFORE YOU READ!

- Hello, thank you for showing an interest in this silly little comic. Let me go over a few things before you head on your way.

-The QFTIM Drama + creator : Yes I am aware (to my best current extent) of the issues surrounding QFTIM's creator and do not condone their actions. I make this blog not out of respect to them, but to respect to my middle-school self that was overly attached to all things BATIM and animation related. You will see many similarities in QFTIM and this blog, because it (clearly) has had a lasting impression on me as an artist. That being said, I think as long as I myself am able to separate art from artist (to a reasonable extent) you can too. If you have issues with that,I kindly ask you click off.

-What this story is not: This comic is NOT meant to be a re-telling of QFTIM, and follows a different (albeit inspired) plot. I aim to make these characters into new ones with their goals, ambitions and fates. Character design elements from QFTIM may be used on occasion, but I'll be doing my best to change them to better align with BATTL's storyline.

-Asks and comments: Please feel to send as many asks as you are comfortable with, I have a rough idea of how I want things to play out but really suck at actually getting the ball rolling. My only concern is that you keep it friendly. If you wouldn't say it to your Aunt, please refrain from saying it to me. Unless its really funny. That said, I'm going to do whatever I want regardless of engagement. (Reblogs are also appreciated :))

-When can updates be expected? : That's up to the gods.

-Trigger warnings and disclaimers: No idea yet. But swearing, violence, goop monsters, general emo tumblr angst, you know the drill. I'll include any warnings in the post but I recommend thinking about what you can expect here and deciding if its worth it to you. This is a fancomic of a horror game afterall.

-SHOUTOUTS!!! The author of @questforthecure for bringing this obsession back from the pits of hell. He's cool and significantly more organized with his own comic (inspired by BATIM/QFTIM) so please give him some love. Also a shoutout to the author of @thefallofhatchetfield, who runs their own askblog of various starkid characters! They're very chill and talented so check them out!
