[Diane walks in. There are hundreds of Make-Your-Own-Plane-Kits stacked on top of each other. Each kit reads: “No I said I’d like to make a complaint do not send me those kits why would you even sell kits like that it’s 2016 this is the last time I’ll be calling you goodbye.”]

This was one of the passages we read in church this weekend, and for some reason I really like it. “Strive to enter through the narrow door” is such a great way go about everything. You never know how many people God will take into heaven. You just have to strive to be the best person you can be, and pray that it will be enough. And it really is a “strive,” because it isn’t always easy to do the right thing. People who just go through the motions of being a Christian may think that they are all set, but hearing “I do not know where you are from” at the gates of heaven must be the worst feeling ever…
It takes courage to be who you are, and to keep from changing, even when that may seem like the best option. Others may want you to join in their lifestyle, or speak like them, or do things that you think are wrong, but those people may not make it through the narrow door. It is important to stay true to yourself and to your beliefs, and to have faith that it will still be okay.
And it’s more than just about religion. If you’re striving to be the best athlete, or to get good grades for a good job out of college, you don’t know how many people are going to succeed. The best thing you can do is to “strive to enter through the narrow door.” Keep working hard and being yourself despite what others around you are doing, for they are not the ones who determine who enters.

Sick of being talked to like an idiot, Get up and let’s get into it. Burn it down! Build it up! You got nothing better to do anyway. Sick of talking when nothing’s sinking in - Keep shouting ‘til they’re listening! Burn it down! Build it up! You got absolutely nothing to lose, And neither do we
