     after days of thinking about her decision, if she had second      thoughts, elena was well aware her mind won’t change. aiming      to master archery  (it would take time  but aiming high wasn’t      wrong, right?), the girl knew there’s only one person who could      help her in this matter. katniss. after their arrival in earth, elena      was never really  close to her   but it was worth  a shot to ask      katniss’ help with archery.  she’d seen katniss in action  & her      archery skill amazed elena.  asking katniss a favor was easier      than she thought, however. elena was prepared of many refusal,      but here they are. two of them in the middle of the woods, with      the bow & arrow as their companion.

      guns weren’t exactly the best weapon to use, mostly because       of the limited numbers of bullets. raven could make many of       them,  but there will come a time when they ran out of gun       powder. at that time, they wouldnt’ve have any weapon left.       so, the alternative way was archery, not all people realized       that but it was a matter of her own survival.

             ‘ more than ready. but can I ask you a question? from                 what I’ve seen, I guess you didn’t just learn archery,                        ..you’re as skilled as the grounders.’

          most of their people relied too heavily on guns.   katniss could           understand to  an extent.   ;   they  preferred the  weaponry that           the grounders didn't  have access to.    the weaponry  that was           responsible for the surprise.   yet,   relying too heavily on such           when they could possibly run out of gun powder if they weren't           CAREFUL  meant they would be out of protection.  archery was           one that was more difficult to run out of, because the supply of           wood in the forest was endless.     despite her lack of ability to           connect well with others,   she could still find i t in her to praise           elena   ( or at  least   think   about the  praise,   not necessarily           having said it yet )   for being  resourceful  &  smart about their           need to have  more than  one kind of  weapon choice.   katniss           hoped the others would realize it as well.           elena's question  caught her  off guard,   yet it  wasn't one  she           should be surprised about.    a fair few had already inquired to           how she  had gotten  so good at  archery.    it certainly wasn't a           skill she just recently picked up.                            ‘ my father. he helped build weapons on                            the ark  &  he had a love  for some types                            that were more old fashioned.  i learned                            a few things from him,      and the rest is                            natural ability. ’

all starters i owed are written! i'm going to flip over to my caroline muse for a little while, but later tonight, i may do a like for a starter post again but with grounder katniss tbh.     if anyone is interested in plotting though, shoot me a message! i'd love to get more things planned out. c:

          she wasn't sure why she agreed to this.  katniss wasn't a           people person,  let alone a  good teacher.  only a  handful           of individuals had ever gotten under katniss' skin enough           to be considered a close companion to earn an unforced           smile, or relaxed nature. she didn't really have an opinion           one way or the other about elena.   in truth, she had been           surprised by her   interest in archery.   katniss' father  had           been involved in creating weaponry for the ark prior to his           floating   &   even  had  shown  interest  in  less   modern           weapons : the bow & arrow being one of them.   she had           snuck down there to watch him work sometimes,   being           taught how to  use the bow.   she had a  NATURAL  ability           with it     &    it was  a weapon  the grounders  used  often.           she supposed that's why elena asked her to help her get           a little better at it & katniss didn't see why she should say           no to the request for help.                              ‘ are you sure you're ready for this? ’
