pen name change.

reposting this here too:  after some conversations with both the lovely @boywonderish and the wonderful @shindera? i have decided upon my new pen name: terra.

again, as i said before, i have nothing against ‘rhian’ as a pen name — i am simply not all that attached to it in the long run. i wanted to pick something that was related to something important to me and that is final fantasy vi. it was the game that got me into gaming and more specifically rpgs. it’s most likely where my love of fantasy and writing comes from as well. and i know it’s a bit cheesy to love the main character? but terra is one of my faves.

(though it was hard to pick a fave character from this game because i love them all and just yeah. such an amazing game and hella underrated if you ask me.)

i want to apologize for my inactivity since basically the turkey day vacation... school has eaten me alive along with a reboot of @seamonstress and the creation of @crossculture. i’m about to be on a vacation for a fair bit of time before my spring classes start up in january. i have some assignments to finish up this week, but after like thursday or friday?

i will be more active on hopefully most if not all of my blogs again.

semi hiatus:  nov. 22 --- nov. 27

from tomorrow morning through to pretty much monday night? i will have limited activity and probably do far more on discord than on the dash on all of my blogs. i am going up to vermont to have thanksgiving at my brother’s with the fam. i will have internet and be available because i still have homework to do over the holiday. but from like, tomorrow morning til friday or saturday i will not be home. then it’s cleaning day as per usual on sunday and then i have classes again on monday.

feel free to hit me up for my discord handle and we can chat or plot there while i have this semi hiatus. i will try some drafts and asks, but yeah, just yeah.

there are these near agonizing moments when i am awake and you haven’t arisen just yet where no matter what i am doing whether it’s paperwork at the table kitchenette-adjacent or fresh from the shower, even the times when i am making food, that i have to peek into the bedroom to ensure you are actually real. to spot how the light settling in from the window carves your face into the most beautiful sculpture and how your hand is sometimes set beside your face to obscure. but even more-so when your hand is curled into the sheets where i was as if to grasp the remnant energy i left behind; because your subconscious craves me even when i am not present.
