I was being selfish and his words look wiser than ever now, prophetic even.

Tried to work on an old fic again but I got major anxiety again and I just can't do it. I love thinking about Sam raping Grian. Sam's seemingly complete disregard for other people's feelings, that sadistic streak he has, the way he always loves to exert power over others; he's dangerous. And Grian might be physically stronger by that point even though he's smaller, but still he can't fight Sam off. There's a terrifying amount of glee and delight shining in Sam's expression, and there's no way for Grian to escape. He'll just have to take it, and deal with it afterwards.

Don't know why but I've just been mentally transported back to April of this year and I'm thinking about Scar and Grian at the Mojang studios in Redmond. Specifically, them getting caught stealing a moment together.

Just something small. A tender kiss in a blessedly empty room, Grian pulling a chair close to Scar's, fingers entwined. Both of them reassuring the other that things are going well, things are going great. Grian brushing Scar's hair back from his temples with his fingers, fixing his cannula before he leans in for a kiss. Just a sweet little peck, Grian's hand on Scar's cheek, Scar's thumb and forefinger closed about Grian's wrist. Lingering for a moment.

And then, someone clearing their throat in the doorway. It's probably someone who doesn't have to be streaming right now, one of the spouses or partners like Kirsty or Skizz's wife or maybe Karn. Someone who doesn't really understand but knows they've just seen something deeply intimate and personal. Someone who will stay quiet.

Grian takes off his glasses to clean them with his shirt, a way of avoiding eye contact. Scar just stumbles over a "yeah, be there in a sec," like he's not kicking himself for letting his guard down like this, but it's so hard to have anything other than tunnel vision when Grian is in front of him.

(And then there's the fact that he's so. So touch-starved. That he will take any morsel of physical affection Grian throws his way. That he can't resist stealing away for a moment alone together if it means he gets to have this feeling. Of being wanted. Of something more than just platonic love.)

And that's it. That's the last risk they take that weekend, any other intimate moments saved for the privacy of a hotel room or private car or elevator ride. Scar doesn't mind that they can't be public. He's never really known anything else.
