yeah actually we removed the big bad wolf from the little red riding hood story because portraying violence against minors is really messed up. yeah. yeah also the wolf narrative was really predatory and had had some icky grooming vibes and a fable meant for literal children shouldn’t have implied p*do shit and grape so now little red riding hood goes into the woods and nothing happens and she goes to grandma’s house. don’t worry our kids will still stick to the path and know not to follow to wolves implicitly because we told them to and children should always do as their told. just like little red riding hood does now.

We live in the dumbest, lamest cyberpunk dystopia possible.

So LA has been — and continues to — protest against ICE. These protests haven’t gotten any smaller or lost any momentum, but social media wasn’t reflecting it.

TikTok users, realizing that the platform/other social media are censoring/deleting/shadowbanning these protest videos, decided to find a workaround.

They’re calling it the LA Music Festival. Ice detention centers and other protest locations are “stages.” The hottest band is Rage Against the Machine. “Here’s what gear you should be bringing to stay safe at the LA Music Festival.”

And it fucking worked.

TikTok has become a proving ground for a lot of new music, meaning lots of labels and organizations have lucrative deals with TikTok to promote their new artists and music festivals. So they absolutely cannot censor the words “music festival” or train the algorithm to ignore it, or they risk endangering that very important revenue.

So now protest videos are flooding feeds again, but it’s the LA 24/7 Music Festival. Truly an incredible timeline we’ve landed in.

I was bored and start thinking about shit.

Soo I was thinking, and I really want a book about other commendants. Not Gilan or Crowley but like... any other eles. Most likely the first one. Becouse I think it would be intresting. I am sure Flanagan won't write anything like that so please... Please someone, do it for me. I need it. I would write it if my english wasn't that bad by myself... But my english is bad.

But think about it for a second. A story about begging of ranger corps. Why? And WHO did it? The whole journey with looking for Rangers, making it a thing, gaining social trust... It would be great!

Or, alternative version, the journal (diary) of commendant. First one just start writing it becouse he felt lonely and the whole bulding a new unit is hard or smth and then next one continue, and next one and next one... And it doesn't has to be about their duty, maybe their lives, feelings, how it is to be a commendant... And the last one would be Gilan's with his thought about all of that, maybe about some parter he noticed or something, maybe just him yapping about some random things... extra points if it would have like little comments on sides. Like some commendant reading previous one's "chapter" (idk how to call it) and write "that's rough, buddy." thing or anything. (Extra, extra points if it's Gilan/Crowley) I need it. A lot.

And Stilson's chapters. His character is do goddamn unused! Maybe he was forced to be a bitch (don't think so) maybe he trully believed that Morgarath would be better as a ruler? Something i find interesting is to read accounts of non military movements during WWII, and compare them to the military accounts.

non military: this was moving, stuff happened, we were paper boys and a coffee shop owner and a roofer. We fought and lost people and we remember them. Etc. chains of people, neighborhoods CHOOSING to act. Peer pressure at its greatest.
