Update rant below for those who want to read -

Yes, I'm aware I've been radio silent for over a year at this point. I'll own up to something. I didn't learn to have much discipline growing up. It's only now that I'm learning to pace myself and work slowly, rather than going at full blast and working until I'm burned out and don't want to do anything for months. It's been a wild ride, but I'm glad it's settling now - better late than never, eh?

I've been working on my figures on and off all this time, and I'm in an on period at the moment thanks to one of the above fellows. Every time he gets a special request I end up overhauling his parts with everything I've learned, and he's become a far better action figure for it. I'm sure that there are still ways he can improve that I haven't discovered yet.

But all that said, I've also learned I make promises that are far too grand. I suppose I've known that for a while now, but I always hoped this time would be the time I actually lived up to them. Perhaps I should refrain from doing so for a while, at least until I can actually be a more reliable person.

I'm still working on my figures, and I do plan to open up my shop again with multiple new ones. But I cannot say when, even with Hollow Knight: Silksong finally on the horizon. That's the kind of pressure that creates burnout within me, so I won't even try to say I'll make that date. Just know that I'm always working on it.

I'll be back eventually.

Susie: Aw crap, Kris got so sick of being the soul vessel that they've quit being a hero!

Ralsei: Well, we need a substitute human ASAP!

Ralsei: out of all the applicants, this one seems to be the nearest relative to humans... and they're willing to work for peanuts...

Susie: close enough

Susie: Aw crap, Kris got so sick of being the soul vessel that they've quit being a hero!

This summer I got to teach an ecosystem-themed animation curriculum to some fantastic elementary schoolers! For our rainforest week each student colored their own frame of parrot animation to create this collaborative animation collage. I love seeing all their different personalities shine through, and would love to tackle new projects such as these. Music by Tottomori
