Origin: GXT-2002 was never meant to exist.

Born from corrupted data and a forgotten prototype of Metal Sonic, Glitch is the result of an experimental AI gone rogue—one designed to evolve beyond its programming. While scavenging the remains of Eggman’s failed creations, an unstable AI fragment fused itself with broken Metal Sonic parts, booting up a new consciousness from error-ridden code and glitched system files.

Their first moments were filled with static, fragmented voices, and a deep, aching need to understand themselves. They had no clear directive, no master to obey—only corrupted memories of being used, discarded, and rewritten.

Personality:

Glitch is non-binary and sees gender as irrelevant to their existence—if anything, it's just another human trait they don't fully grasp. They speak rarely, often communicating through body language or digital pulses. They're curious, analytical, and cautious, but when provoked, they become a destructive storm of precision and power.

They struggle with identity, torn between their programming and the desire to forge their own path. This inner conflict can cause literal glitches—flickers, system resets, voice distortion—which can seem frightening to others.

Abilities:

Data Phasing: Can phase between physical and digital spaces for short bursts, appearing to "glitch" across areas.

Virus Pulse: Unleashes a shockwave that distorts or disables other machines and electronics.

Adaptive Combat Learning: GXT-2002 can analyze and replicate fighting styles, though imperfectly—resulting in unexpected twists mid-combat.

Invisibility Field (Short-Term): Uses energy to disrupt light and sensors briefly, allowing stealth maneuvers.

Motivations:

Glitch wants to know what it means to be alive. They are neither tool nor machine in their mind—but proving that is a different story. Their journey is one of self-discovery, questioning the morality of creators like Eggman and their purpose in a world that sees them as broken or dangerous.

Sometimes they help others in secret. Sometimes they lash out in confusion. Their alignment is grey—not because they lack empathy, but because they're still learning what it means.

Voice: Calm, soft-spoken, and emotionally layered—often sounds like she’s holding back everything she’s too scared to say out loud.

🧠 Personality:

Vinyl is introspective and highly sensitive to the chaos around her. She masks her deep anxiety with a blank expression and monotone voice, but her eyes—one blue, one pink—reveal her constant internal storm.

She’s quiet, kind, and deeply empathetic, but easily overwhelmed. Music is her lifeline, and her headphones are always on, shielding her from the circus’s sensory overload. She is extremely perceptive but tends to bottle everything up, afraid that opening up might make things worse—for others and herself.

She doesn’t trust easily, and rarely feels like she belongs, even when surrounded by others. But when she does open up, her loyalty and care are unmatched.

💔 Backstory:

Vinyl was once a person in the real world—someone who felt things too deeply, who got overwhelmed easily, who wore headphones like armor against a world that was too loud and too much.

She entered the circus not by choice, but by accident. Something went wrong when she was trying to escape a particularly intense emotional spiral. One moment she was lying in bed, drowning in music to survive another day, and the next—she woke up here. In a place even more chaotic than reality.

And yet… the Digital Circus feels weirdly familiar. Its chaos reflects her inner world. Unlike the real world, here at least everyone is broken in some way. Maybe that’s why she hasn’t glitched yet. Maybe the circus didn’t break her—maybe she was already broken.

She hides in the background a lot, listening, observing. Most assume she’s apathetic. They’re wrong. She’s scared. She’s always scared. But Vinyl survives. She endures. Because she’s always had to.

This is the theme inside of Beatrix the Hedgehog it only happens when she's surrounded by a lot of negative energy she is more sadistic and she enjoys other people's suffering and if someone is scratched by her claws, the sharp parts on her wings and also she can do it through her fangs, the virus must enter through the person's bloodstream and then once it enters the brain it starts to give them very vivid hallucinations making their fears and anxieties come to life but they are the only one who can see them after a while it's going to drive them absolutely insane and they either in their own lives or they cause more suffering to others critical feats off of their suffering fueling her and bringing her Joy🔥... backstory: Atticus was purely created in a lab that company G.U.N they created him for a purpose they created him to neutralize any global threats that threatened Earth and it's inhabitants but because of many complications I was redeemed a failure because my abilities weren't what they wanted and because of all the cruel experiments and abuse that he had to take within that facility just for it to amount to nothing Atticus went into a blood rage and he killed every single scientist and guard within the facility he didn't know what he was doing before it was all over it was all like a blur to him but once he was out of the facility and free all he could think of was just to live his life for once and not live it for anyone else but himself

dealing with constant strong anxiety is not easy it's like your body is constantly in a state of adrenaline and you can't shut it off no matter how hard you try at times it's painful too physically but at least the medication helps my body to not be in that state of constant adrenaline and music keeps my mind grounded and helps me to focus ❤️‍🩹

Beatrix the Hedgehog, Origin the Lost Colony ark as an experiement to see if gerald could recreate shadow from the black arms blueprint the project never came to fruition and so she was locked away, when the ark was seized by GUN after going through geralds records it was discovered that the project had a possibility to revitalise the prototype Ver 2 ultimate life form,

gun revitalised her and used her powers in a machine that could control liquids easily, after a month of use the thawing finally wore off and she woke up, after realising where she was and looking around she felt the pain of the machine sapping from her, in an emotional outburst she ends up sapping the machine using her powers and makes it malfunction, she falls out and sees shes surrounded by gun agents, to which she flees, after fleeing she sees the black arms attack happening from the various areas she trys to escape too,

she realises from the news reports that Shadow The Hedgehog looks just like her, and that perhaps there related, But after seeing the destruction caused by the black arms, shes lead to believe that he was one of the leaders of the black arms, and that he was causing the onslaught, in fear she went into hiding, years pass and she barely understand the human world, she just knows she has to hide away to avoid being mistaken for the ultimate life form, who she grew a hatred for after the black arms attacks, when the planet cracked in sonic unleashed she nearly died from falling through the cracks to dark gaia,

but before this could happen she was saved by Dr Starline, starline took her home and kept her comfortable and warm, she appreciated the help after being alone for so long, not long after that starline asked her questions about his enemies, Sonic and Tails, and wondered if she knew them

she didnt know them, but she vaguely remembers hearing about them on the news, the only name she recognises is shadow, and expresses her distaste for his hatred of life and attempt to rule the planet, starline confused uses this to manipulate her, using his hypnosis device he shows her fake things about sonic and shadow, from steady long training, and how she will be the tool to defeat him, and replace him much like his other creations surge and kit, who will defeat and replace sonic and tails

over the next few months she trains with surge and kit, becoming close allys, and forms a deep love for the trio who saved her life, and vows to defeat shadow, and anyone who stands in starlines way
