SUNDAY PREVIEW NFL LOCKS
I know you guys already know what is coming, but our first play of the day is the Philadelphia Eagles +3. They have no reason to be the underdog with how they have been performing. I could easily see this game being won by a field goal on either side which is why I am suggesting taking the spread. The Niners have looked fantastic, but they have also lost some games against good teams. The Eagles have yet to do anything like that. Also, if we look back at the NFC championship game from last year, the Eagles absolutely blew the Niners out. Take the points and go see the cashier. Our second play is going to be the Lions at -3. The spread right now is -4, but I suggest buying a point. The Lions got brutally embarrassed on thanksgiving and many people have written them off as frauds. However, they are still one of the top teams in the NFC and are playing a bad Saints team that has yet to get anything going this season. Look to see the Lions bounce back in a big way and run over the Saints. Good luck this weekend and I will have more posts next week.

SWEEP 11/30 picks and recap
This page is now an astonishing 15-5 after a clean sweep last week. Tonight we look to get the week moving with a Thursday night football play. If you look at the trends the Cowboy's offense has been putting up numbers while their defense continues to hold bad teams to team totals of 10 or less. The line is still steep tonight at -9.5 against Geno Smith and the Seahawks, but they have been consistently covering. Seattle just got blown out by the 49ers who are a pretty comparable team to the Cowboys. Although it is risky, take the Cowboys -9.5 tonight, and if the live line looks valuable take that as well. Our second pick tonight is going to be the under in the NFL game. This pick is very straightforward. Prime-time games consistently go under 7 times out of 10. There is no reason to overthink it just bet the numbers. I also would not hate a parlay with Cowboy's alt line -6.5 parlay with the under in the game with a couple points bought. Let's see what we can do here with a lame TNF game.

WEEK of 11/20 NFL PLAYS
Happy Thanksgiving anyone! What is better than Thanksgiving week football? For our first pick, we are taking the Philadelphia Eagles against the Buffalo Bills at -3. I know it seems biased that I always take them, but the Eagles have been on an absolute roll for us. Don't fix what's not broken. Josh Allen has looked awful this year and that whole team is in shambles. Jalen Hurts is gonna march to Buffalo and get another victory. Our second pick is the Broncos money line against the Browns. I know we missed on the Browns last week, but I still think they can't keep winning games with a backup quarterback. It looks like the Broncos are finally starting to figure it out. Both picks are on Sunday. We're gonna make some money!

Massive Slate! 11/22 Picks
It's a new week let's stay on a roll. The page is now 11-5 after going 2 and 2 last week with a couple of bad beats on Sunday football. Today we are taking Kansas moneyline at -125 against Tennessee. Kansas got embarrassed yesterday against Marquette in a blow out victory. Kansas is still the number one team in the country and I believe they are going to come out today angry. For my second pick of the day I am taking Harvard against Colgate at +140. It is a risky pick, but Colgate looks terrible this year and nothing like they have performed in recent years. Harvard is the best Ivy league team and I think they have the edge. Take Harvard today as a value play.

Weekly Sunday Preview 11/19
We have been killing it on Sundays every week by making our picks early and I see no sense in stopping now. For our first pick, we are taking the LA Chargers at -3 against the Green Bay Packers. The Chargers just recently lost a heartbreaker to the Lions in a high-scoring battle. Their offense has really been picking it up lately and could be one of the highest-scoring teams by the end of the season. The Packers have struggled with Jordan Love at QB and struggle to find wins. The Chargers are going to steamroll the Packers and prove to the world that they truly are a contender that has just had some struggles this season. Our second pick is the Steelers ML against the Cleveland Browns. We know the Browns just took down the Ravens, but that was when they had Deshaun Watson. It just came out this morning that he will be out for the season with a shoulder injury and rookie Dorian Finney Thompson will be taking over. Dorian did look good in pre-season, but it is very hard for a rookie to come into a starting role this late in the season and win against a good defense. Let's take the value and roll the dice with Kenny Pickett. Let's continue to kill it on the NFL and make some money!

STAY HOT... 11/16 PICKS
After 3 fantastic weeks in a row, this page is now officially 9-3 in picks meaning that anyone who has been tailing has been on an absolute tear. Let's get this week started with some Thursday plays since today's slate is pretty weak. We are going to get things started this week with the Ravens -3 against the Cincinnati Bengals at home. The Ravens, led by Lamar Jackson, look like the real deal this year. They look like they may be the best team in the NFL right now. On the other hand, the Bengals have been struggling all season and have been very inconsistent. It is hard to bet against Joe Burrow, but we are going to follow the trends and take the Ravens. Our second pick is going to be over 43.5 rushing yards by Lamar Jackson. Every time he plays the Bengals he runs all over them. Once again, we are going to follow the trends and ride the heater. Look for Lamar to run all game long. Lets continue to stay hot for Thursday Night Football.

NFL Sunday Opening Line Value
It worked out last week, so we are going to do it again. The NFL lines have already dropped for Sunday so we are going to bet early and hopefully get some of these bets in at a discount before the lines change. Our first bet on the slate is the Detroit Lions against the LA Chargers. The Lions are just coming off a bye and are going to be fresh and ready this week with many of their injured players returning this week. The Chargers have struggled with consistency this year. They did get a win on Monday night last week, but it was against a struggling Jets team and should not count for much. Look for the Lions to take down LA... take Lions -2. Our second pick is the Colts -2 against the Patriots in their neutral matchup in Germany. The Patriots have been one of the worst teams in football this season with only 2 wins. They are not good and I do not see them finding any late-season energy to get better. The Colts, who lost their 4th overall rookie QB, have rallied behind Gardner Minshew and have been managing to win some games. I just think the Colts have a better roster and play harder. Lock it in with the Lions and Colts to get a discount on some Sunday plays.

LETS STAY HOT: 11/8 Picks + Recap
After going 2-2 last week this page moves on to be 6-2 since its creation just a couple weeks ago. Let's continue the success now that college basketball has started. We are going to get things started with picks for tomorrow since the slate for today looks pretty weak. Our first pick for the 8th is the Miami Heat money line. They are playing the Grizzlies who have looked downright awful without their star player Ja Morant. They have posted only one win and I don't see them gettin anything going with their lack of star power. Miami also got off to a slow start, but things are looking up for them after 2 wins a row to get the momentum going. Our second pick is going to be the Golden Knights money line against the Kings. Both teams have been playing incredible and they are both projected to be starting a fantastic goalie. However, Vegas is just the better team and with the money line being this cheap we can't pass up on the value. Lets keep the good times going!

SUNDAY PREVIEW for 11/5
I know it's only Tuesday, but we decided to put out our Sunday NFL picks early this week to prevent any line movement from affecting our plays. These picks could be affected negatively due to injuries and other unforeseen circumstances, but we will do our best to account for that. Our first pick is a little biased since I am based out of Philadelphia I will not lie. We are picking the Philadelphia Eagles against the spread at -3 against the Dallas Cowboys. It is going to be a heated divisional matchup against two bitter rivals. However, with the Eagle's secondary finally healthy and with the addition of Kevin Byard we believe the Eagle's defense will find a way to overpower Dak Prescott and Ceedee Lamb's chemistry. This will pave the way for Jalen Hurts to do his thing on offense and lead the Eagles to another win. For our second pick, we are taking the Bengals -3 against the Bills. The Bills have struggled to find a rhythm this year and have not looked liked themselves. The Bengals started the year off very slow and since then have been dominating after taking down Brock Purdy and the Niners last week. Look for the Bengals to continue their success against a struggling Buffalo team.

Keep the streak alive! 10/31 Picks
I hope everyone's pockets are full after we went 4/4 last week. We are looking to keep the streak alive as we head into November. Today is a weak slate with minimal games to bet on, but we have found the value. We are going to start things off today with an NHL matchup bet between two solid teams; the LA Kings and the Toronto Maple Leafs. They are both expected to start two tough goalies, however, Toronto has already been confirmed to be starting Joseph Woll tonight who starts the season with a 3-1 record and a 1.33 GA. The Maple Leafs are a little expensive at -150, but we believe this is a lock and worth paying up for it. Our second play is definitely a risky one as anything can happen in the World Series. However, our model gives a slight edge to the Arizona Diamondbacks against the Texas Rangers. The Rangers currently lead the series 2-1 after winning back-to-back games. Both teams' starting pitchers tonight have struggled in the postseason. We expect a high-scoring game. We believe the D-backs will figure it out at home tonight and tie up the series. Take the money line. Good luck tonight everybody!

SUNDAY FRENZY!! NFL Picks for 10/29
Welcome back everybody to our second-ever post on the beatthelines sports betting blog. Today, as always, we will be giving away 2 free NFL picks that we believe to hold the most value. We will start with a 1:00 game with a fierce matchup that includes the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Both teams go into this battle with only 2 losses to their names. The Jaguars struggled early on in the season and have now started to gain momentum as their star QB Trevor Lawrence begins to improve his play. The Steelers have looked very mediocre all season, but have still managed to get 4 wins. However, we believe that the Jaguars at -2 is the right play for this game. With their explosive offense including Travis Etienne and Calvin Ridley, it would be hard to imagine the Jags not coming out of this one victorious. For our other pick today we will be doing a 2 leg parlay that includes the Eagles moneyline and the Saints moneyline. The Eagles have been an absolute powerhouse all season with Jalen Hurts at the helm. They have only logged one loss and look to march on down to Washington and beat the Commanders on the road this week. The Saints have a tougher matchup going against the Indianapolis Colts. The Saints have had their ups and downs this year on offense, but their defense has been spectacular. The Colts recently lost their quarterback for the season and have been forced to go with their backup. We believe the Saint's defense will be the key to victory this week. That is all we have for today and we will be back with you guys next week.

Get the Edge on Vegas! 10/28 Sport Betting Picks
Hey everybody! Today will be the first post of our brand new sports betting blog "beatthelines" where we will be helping you get the best chances to make some money and have some fun doing it. We will be giving out two picks today with the first one being a NBA rivalry matchup game between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Toronto Raptors. We believe that the value is on the side of the Sixers. They are 4.5-point favorites after coming off a brutal 1-point loss to the Bucks where players such as Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid stepped up big with star player James Harden being away from the team. The Raptors are a younger team with less experience and firepower. Sixers -4.5 is the right way to attack this game. Our second and final pick of the day is the Phoenix Suns at -5.5 against the Utah Jazz. The Suns have yet to put out a fully healthy roster since the season has started. According to our sources, it is believed that all three of their star players will be on the court tonight including Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. The Jazz do not have a good roster and will struggle severely on the offensive side of the ball. The Suns will look to make a statement tonight with their team finally back to full strength. That is all we have for today and we wish everyone luck!
