What do you think is the most soothing quality of the sturgeon?

I love that their mouths (excluding genus huso) are hidden below their rostra. As an autistic person who experiences frequent speech loss, i have a complicated relationship with my own mouth. i usually like to have it covered up or hidden because it makes me feel safer. So, the fact that my favorite fish also has a hidden mouth makes me feel like we are in it together

Could you explain what are AGAB,ASAB,AFAB,AMAB ? Are they intersex exclusive ? I see AFAB/AMAB used a lot in the trans comunity

Assigned [X] at birth. "G" is Gender, "S" is Sex, "F" is Female, "M" is male. You might also see X or I for indeterminate or intersex (usually "I" for the latter example), or UAB for "unassigned at birth". They started off as intersex-exclusive terminology as doctors coined it way back when to discuss birth sex assignment for intersex children, however the wider queer community has adopted the language for everybody... which has unfortunately lead to perisex people using ASAB as progressive shorthand assuming people's anatomy or experience via a single letter.
