Stop engaging with the HBO Harry Potter show.

Don't pay attention to casting or filming announcements, don't click on articles about it. When it comes out, don't watch it. At all. Don't hate-watch it. Don't dissect or analyze it. Do not engage with it.

Every bit of promotion that stupid slop gets is money in JK Rowling's pocket. You already know the story. You already know the aesthetic. You're not gonna be getting anything new or interesting or worth any attention from it. Just don't watch it.

Artist of the Night (day) EUGENE MCDANIELS

Overcoming burnout to get some artist recommendations for black history month!!! Ok Eugene McDaniels is a singer/songwriter/producer/voice actor who’s most known for his music in the early 60s-70s. He often wrote songs about racial injustices and his rage and frustration towards people in power. His album, “headless heroes of the apocalypse”, was especially opinionated, so much so that the current president, Nixon, banned the album from being sold shortly after its release. Because of this heavy blow to his career, McDaniels struggled to earn money from his music, his name faded from public attention. He actually became a voice actor for a character in league of legends! He worked as a producer of sorts until he tragically died in 2011. Some of my favorite songs of his include, “the parasite”,( an eleven minute song telling the story of the Native American genocide), “cherrystones” , and “the lord is back”. If you’re interested in learning more about him, look it up on his website dude this guy has so much lore. Thanks for reading!
