Dark Side of the Moon is really good.
Yea yea, I know, no shit. I used to listen to this album a ton growing up. Then I dated my ex who had a weird thing about Pink Floyd. Her abusive ex listened to them a lot so ya know triggers and such. Out of respect for her I stopped listening to them, didn't seem like a big deal. Fast forward to now and I've been dating my now fiancé for 5 years and I'm just now getting back into Pink Floyd and jamming Dark Side of The Moon again. I think this is what they mean by healing from past trauma and baggage and it's a weird feeling. One of my goals this year was to find a therapist and having moments of reflection like this make me wonder what else I'm missing out on that having some kind of sherpa would help with.

I just sent an invoice out for 5 figures. It was for a single job. I didn't make that much my entire first year of doing photography and if you told me 15 years ago that's what I'd be charging for shit I would have laughed at you. Client was super happy with the photos. All that's to say, the imposter syndrome still hasn't gone away. So if you're just starting or early in the journey, realize it never does and go out and do it anyway.

Advice I gave someone today was: 'do it stupid.'
She wants to learn photography. Do it stupid. Take a million photos. Don't think about why they're not good. Enjoy the process of taking photos.
Pick out tge ones you like the most and figure out why you like them. Is it because the subject is centered? Is it because you caught them doing something cool? Is it because the light made cool shadows?
Do it stupid. If you try to do it smart, youll get stuck. If you think too much you'll never get to doing. Do it stupid.
