raven stood in front of the ice cream flavors, a very determined look on her face. sure, she probably was a little bit stoned, but what else is new? she had a craving & it needed to be satisfied, but after tasting about 5 flavors she still couldn’t choose. “okay, okay, hear me out: what if i mixed mint chocolate chip & cake batter. is that hella gross?” she turned to the person next to her. “also, love your whole look today. werk, or whatever.”

they  look  over  at  their  friend  with  hazy  eyes  ,  slightly  impaired  without  their  glasses  &  from  the  consumption  of  drugs.  ❛  food  is  food  ,  ❜  they shrug  with  a  brazen  expression  ,  more  concerned  with  what  they  were  going  to  get.  ❛  i’ll  probably  just  get  bacon  ice  cream.  ❜  the  compliment  catches  their  attention  ,   quickly  glancing  down  at  the  joggers  &  oversized  shirt  that  they’d  lazily  slapped  on.  their  lips  purse  together  &  brows  furrow.  ❛  that’s  just  the  weed  talking.  ❜

they  follow  the  beat  ,  bouncing  their  head  along  ,  one  headphone  hanging  out.  trays  in  their  hand  ,  they  make  their  way  through  the  diner  towards  a  booth  ,  tapping  their  foot.  all  it  takes  is  one  misplaced  step  &  the  food  goes  flying  across  the  floor.  their  mouth  drops  ,  before  they  manage  to  recompose  themselves  &  clear  up  the  mess.  their  gaze  shifts  to  the  table  the  order  was  for  ,  mumbling  an  apology  in  their  direction  ,  ❛  i  am  so  so  sorry.  oh  my  god.  i’ll  get  you  something  else  in  a  sec.  ❜

⌐  (  chloe  bridges.  non - binary.  she/they.  )  did  you  see  ROBIN  PEREZ  ACOSTA  at  the  street  fair  the  other  day  ??  i’m  pretty  sure  they  live  in  WALDEN  ,  so  i’m  not  shocked  they  were  there.  the  TWENTY  TWO  year  old  is  a  SERVER  at  GLORIA’S  DINER  ,  right  ??  i  heard  that  even  though  they’re  CAREFREE  &  ENERGETIC  they  can  also  be  RECKLESS  &  CLUMSY.  i  don’t  think  they  want  anyone  to  know  this  ,  but  THEIR  FATHER  IS  FROM  BRIAR  GLEN.  i  hope  for  their  sake  no  one  finds  out.  ⌟

robin  was  born  to  two  high  schoolers.  one  from  walden  ,  one  from  briar  glen.

their  respective  families  didn’t  agree.  it  all  stemmed  from  the  rivalry  between  the  two  towns.  

their  mother’s  parents  thought  their  father  was  pompous  ,  whilst  his  family  judged  her  for  being  working - class.  

they  tried  to  make  it  work  ,  but  ultimately  the  relationship  crumbled.  

both  sides  of  the  family  tried  to  cover  it  all  up  ,  saying  their  mother  got  knocked  up  by  someone  else.

daddy  dearest  would  visit  sporadically  throughout  her  childhood  secretly.  but  ,  the  visitations  eventually  stopped  just  around  /  before  their  seventh  birthday  with  pathetic  excuses.

after  that  ,  it  was  just  them  &  their  mom.  though  ,  they  did  get  the  occasional  child  support  payment. 

they  got  their  first  girlfriend  at  fifteen.  they  weren’t  entirely  sure  about  their  sexuality  before  then  ,  jumping  between  labels  constantly  before  landing  on  pansexual.  they’ve  had  a  few  partners  since  ,  before  finally  getting  into  a  long - term  relationship  with  her  girlfriend  of  three  years.

they’ve  been  into  music  since  forever  ,  getting  them  theiri  first  guitar  when  she  was  around  six  from  her  dad.  since  then  ,  it’s  been  stuffed  away  in  attic  for  quite  some  time.  they  told  their  mom  they  threw  it  away  ,  but  secretly  kept  it.  they  really  found  their  passion  when  they  were  ten  &  their  mother  got  them  their  first  drum  kit.  &  from  then  on  ,  they  weren’t  too  concerned  for  many  subjects  at  school  ,  heavily  focusing  on  music.

they  trialled  out  for  so  many  bands  throughout  their  teenage  years  ,  very  rarely  getting  chosen.  a  huge  blow  to  robin’s  confidence.  the  few  bands  they  were  in  were  okay  ,  but  they  had  no  spark  that  would  get  them  anywhere.

 it  was  finally  when  they  was  eighteen  ,  straight  out  of  high school  that  they  found  their  chance  with  a  band. 

they  have  a  job  on  the  side  ,  working  as  a  server  at  gloria’s  diner.  &  it’s  not . great  ,  but  it  pays  for  her  food  &  shit.

as  a  child  ,  robin  was  very  quiet  &  laid - back.  they  often  preferred  to  use  music  to  communicate  how  they  felt.  they  barely  spoke  during  it.  but  ,  they’ve  grown  into  an  incredibly  reckless  &  energetic  individual.  they  try  not  to  have  a  reason  to  be  sad  about  things  ,  even  when  they  are  &  have  a  lot  of  anger  built  up  inside.  &  despite  outward  appearances  ,  they  don’t  really  give  enough  of  a  shit  to  hate  people  or  want  to  fight  them.  clumsiness  has  always  been  a  common  trait.  they’ve  smashed  more  objects  than  hulk.
