We for Vizag
So are you a student? What else do you do other than your college work and the usual classes?
You attend workshops, online classes, or go through some material right?
But what if I tell you the workshops that you have been attending are ripping you off and are taking your money, your hard-earned money.
According to the research done by the ‘We For Vizag’ team, only 40% of the amount you pay for a workshop is actually needed for organizing it. Rest all 60% goes to the company that organized the workshop.
We For Vizag team consists mostly of students who also attend these kinds of workshops and thought why can’t we reduce the costs of the workshops so that a little less to no money goes to the company and the student’s burden is reduced up to 60%.
So That’s how We For Vizag got started on 8th June 2019. It may have been a rocky road in the beginning and the team went through a lot of hardships and did a lot of preparation before their first workshop, but after the first workshop it all seemed worth it and they were ready to do this for all of eternity.
What’s so unique about “We For Vizag” workshops is the method in which they conduct their workshops. They have a unique system that allows students with different levels of prior knowledge of the topic and separates them into 2 classes.
Usually, when you go to a workshop as a beginner it’s hard to understand the already established terms and catch up to the class but if you tone down the difficulty of the workshop it may not be as useful to an already preceded student there is no middle ground to a problem like this and, customarily, at least some students leave the workshop dissatisfied. So We For Vizag came up with this approach.
So say you are going to an artificial intelligence workshop but you are an absolute beginner in this topic and have no background or need just an introduction to this area you will be advised to take the beginner’s workshop where you will learn the basics of AI and your foundations are now strong.
But if you already have some background in this area and are here to develop your skills and learn new information, you will be sent to a more advanced workshop where you already have your foundation laid.
This model of conducting classes is especially helpful when there are students with a wide range of backgrounds in the subject.
Let us talk a little about their 2 days technical and non-technical fest called The_Originn , its main motto is to bring 6 professional degrees into a single platform.
You may be an Engineering student but you wanted to learn something in Management or a Medico and was interested in Computer Science. With current college curriculum's, it's highly not possible to learn these in College. So The_Originn brought all the 6 professional courses into one place which allowed any student to attend any workshop irrespective of their educational background.
This also helps students who did not get jobs in their field of study and helps them to explore other branches and learn more about other fields as well. The 6 fields are Engineering, Degree, Medical, Law, Sciences, and Management.
It was 14 long months planning that went into the event which made it a huge success. It gained a lot of support from students of different Institutes all across AP. it was more grandeur than expected, gathering around 1000 students to the workshops and the events.
In the coming years, the We For Vizag team is planning to do more events like this on an even bigger scale. It continues to gain more love and support from students. We are all anticipating what’s next in store for us.
Conclusion:
We For Vizag is a brand-new start-up company that Is ripping through stereotypes of startups and coming up with new and fresh ideas. Its been a reliable source for students and has been promising for companies to be future partners.
