Hey, if you’re in a position where you can speak up against someone using r*ta*d please please do so because it perpetuates harmful stereotypes and because of the autistics like me who are too afraid to speak up. Even just seeing comments like “that’s a slur” or “don’t use that word” or “that’s not an okay word to use” make me feel a little better and let me know that I can trust you at least a little bit. It also pushes us towards autism acceptance, which is something that is very much needed.
