My first thought for Cordy would definitely be Nicki! They might not like each other at first, what with Corey’s reputation, but I think with time and getting to know each other they could really be a cute couple! They both have bitchy tendencies, but they could be really sweet with each other and a fearsome duo when they team up to be bitchy together - plus, Nicki’s dad wouldn’t hesitate to adopt Cordy and take care of her once he realizes her issues with her mom.

Another option could be Kalani! Like with Nicki, I don’t know how much they’d really like each other at first, but they could be a really amazing couple together. Kalani really is a very loving and caring person, despite the first impression they tend to give, and I think they’d be good at supporting Cordy and making sure she knows how much they care about her when she’s really struggling with everything relating to her mom. And again like with Nicki, Kalani’s dad would be so sweet with Cordy and very willing to tell her mom off for her!

THE MAGNUS ARCHIVES OC

Amelia Bird - Melly, as she liked to be referred to - had always been smart and a multifaceted person with many talents and interests. Not that that was ever good enough for her mother. She could always do better, always achieve more. It is these thoughts that get to her the most. So she achieves and achieves until she reaches a complete burn-out, which leaves her hospitalized for a month. After this, she decides to forego her work and studies, at least for a while, to travel the world. Those travels eventually take her, her husband Andrew, and her sister to Paris, which is where they decide to explore the catacombs. It is this trip that completely upends her life, leading to her leaving America for good and moving to England eventually, which is where she flunks her way into working for the Magnus Archives as a reasearch assistent - a job that works just fine for a few years...until Jane Prentiss' attack on the archives, of which the aftermath leads Melly to hear the voice of her deaceased husband in the tunnels beneath the building.

This is entirely the doing of @rose-of-oz, by the way.

OKAY so aella is my baby my beloved girl i love her so much. aella was adopted by her moms when she was six and had 4 siblings. 2 of her siblings, adam and dierdre, and her mom both died at the beginning of the apocalypse. her mama is the one who kept aella and sigourney alive and taught aella how to keep them alive. she ingrained it in aella's head that she has to keep sig alive - sig was the youngest and is 9 when the show starts.

aella is flirty, outgoing, and hella fucking good at throwing knifes. she's figured out how to use people's perception of her against them and plays into them to get what she wants. she tends to breathe life into the group with her humor and keeps everyone on their toes. she's immediately into 10k and enjoys teasing and flirting with him, but it takes a hot minute for her to actually fall for him.

Bowie Forrester ᯽ Ho Hey

Bowie had kind of always had a problem with belonging. When he was a kid, it been because he was interested in sci-fi movies and fantasy novels (which you wouldn’t think would a problem when he lived in Los Angeles, but children are cruel); as he got older, it was because he rambled too much and couldn’t seem to utter a single sentence that didn’t make things in a room awkward (which a later-in-life autism diagnosis had explained, if not fixed or made anything better). By the time he had graduated with a degree in English literature and decided that, actually, he wanted to be a firefighter instead, Bowie had gone through almost his whole life with very few actual friends and self-esteem that was, to put in kindly, kind of sucky. But when he’d graduated from firefighter training and been placed in Station 118, it seemed that something had finally clicked for Bowie socially. His peers at the fire station didn’t mind his rambling or “nerdy” interests; in fact, Hen and Chimney would usually encourage him to talk more about what he was into, and Bobby, his captain, was usually more than happy to debate Dan Brown’s books with him. It may have taken him a while to be able to call any of them actual friends, that damned social awkwardness holding him back from furthering the connections sometimes, but Bowie felt like he’d finally found his people, and that was more than he’d ever had, so he cherished it. Then, almost a full year after Bowie became a firefighter, Evan Buckley crashes into Station 118. Handsome as he is, Buck is also brash, loud, reckless, and used to being able to sleep with anyone he wants; pretty much the opposite of Bowie, who only came out as gay two years ago and has never had a romantic relationship with anyone. Still, against all odds, the two men wind up striking up a genuine friendship, something that Bowie still isn’t used to but that he never knew he could enjoy so much. Bowie has never been happier in his life than he is as a 118 firefighter - his colleagues are the friends he’s never had, the found family he would fight and die for. But living as he does in a world of adrenaline-fuelled emergencies, the fierce heat of flames, and unexpected romantic connections, Bowie has to learn pretty quick that nothing in this line of work is for certain.
