Now lastly, My personal favourite to play is the Supports. The support heroes are, in my opinion, more important than the tanks in a team. The support is needed to help convey health to all their teams Tanks and DPS heroes. The more you heal, the more your team can push on. Let's get onto the best-ranked Support! 聽Ana, who is my Main out of all the heroes in Overwatch, dominates the support category, especially with how she can bully the enemy tanks. While she was effective in the original Overwatch, the shift to a single tank setup in Overwatch 2 has further added to her effectiveness. Even after a year into Overwatch 2, Ana remains a powerful force. Her two abilities play a strong role in countering tanks: the sleep dart cancels enemy abilities, leaving them vulnerable to your team's attacks, while her grenade inflicts anti-heal, preventing enemies from being healed for a short duration. Also, her rifle's long-range healing is unmatched among supports. With her ultimate ability, nano boost, she can significantly enhance a teammate's damage output and damage reduction, making it a very powerful combo with many other ultimates. For those seeking to master a single support hero, Ana is an amazing option. Now, when it comes to the lowest-ranked support, that seems to be Moira. Moira is a decent starting support hero for new players, but her reliance on limited abilities and a resource-based healing system makes her a weaker choice compared to other supports. While she can provide solid healing, her kit lacks variety. She can deploy healing or damaging orbs, and her primary healing is restricted by a meter that refills slowly over time or by dealing damage. Unlike healers like Mercy and Lifeweaver, Moira's reliance on resources limits her ability to sustain high levels of healing. Additionally, she can deal damage effectively without needing to reload, but her close-range attacks put her at risk. Now, I know that all of these Heroes have powerful abilities that are very hard to rank.

Now let's move on to the Damage. Ranking the Heroes in this category does get quite controversial, as every hero has there good abilities for different attacks. When it comes to the Damage (DPS) in overwatch, They are the ones who are mainly used to flank and counterattack behind the tank and in front of the support. The best-ranked Damage has to be Ashe. Ashe, who is my favourite DPS to play, is a Hero capable of inflicting significant damage, whether from a distance or up close. She holds a lever-action rifle that delivers more damage when aimed down sights but fires faster when hip-fired. Also, she carries dynamite that explodes upon shooting, igniting enemies and causing damage over time. Her shotgun can push enemies away and aid in reaching high places. Alongside her ultimate ability that calls for Bob, a powerful robot armed with a machine gun, who can swiftly eliminate exposed enemies. Skillful aiming while scoped in with Ashe ensures dominance over the opposing team. Now for who is the worst-ranked DPS, that would sadly have to be Mei. In Overwatch 2, Mei had been nerfed, losing the main elements of her kit. Her ice beam no longer freezes enemies, only causes damage and slows them slightly. Although her zoning abilities, like the ice wall and ultimate, remain effective, her damage output is not much compared to other damage characters. Mei's Cryo-Freeze ability provides some survivability by giving temporary immunity to damage and healing her, but she still struggles to match the damage output of most other heroes.

Now, let's talk about tanks. One of the most important hero categories in a team. The one who needs to push in to do the most damage so that the Support and Damage are safe to jump in. Now there are a lot of tanks to talk about, and each of them has times when they will be needed. We have Orisa, Reinhart, Doomfist, Wrecking Ball, Sigma, Zarya, D.Va, Junker Queen, Roadhog, Winston, Romattra, and Mauga. Now let's figure out which is the best to play! Orisa remains the top choice even as Overwatch 2 enters its second year, and lately, she's been even more noticeable. She has many tools that make her the best tank in the game. Her javelin toss can stun enemies, stopping whatever they are doing. Plus, her javelin spin can block incoming projectiles, giving her another way to defend herself. Her gun deals good damage, and her ultimate ability hits a wide area, making it great for controlling objectives. But what sets her apart is her hardened ability. It gives her extra armour and, more importantly, makes her immune to crowd control for a short time. Crowd control moves are a major way to deal with strong tank players, so Orisa being able to ignore them makes her tough to handle. She could be better against beam weapons, but it's not such a big problem that you have to switch heroes every time. Now you may also be wondering who has the worst odds out of all the Tanks, and that would be Doomfist. Doomfist still stays at the bottom of the tank tier list, mainly because of two reasons. Firstly, he's hard to play effectively. Secondly, many abilities in the game can easily stop him in his tracks. Doomfist is meant to be used aggressively, leaving your team without much protection while you go on the attack. You have to punch enemies and take them out one by one to succeed. His moves need to be used in a specific order, and if you lose even one, it often leads to defeat. His main problem is that any crowd-control move can interrupt his abilities, stopping his combos and getting Doomfist defeated. When you combine a tough set of moves to learn with a tank that doesn't provide much protection for the team, Doomfist usually isn't a good choice in most situations. My personal favourite Tank to play would have to be D.va, who is in the middle of the list. she faces too many tough opponents to rank high. Her mobility is amazing, her defence matrix recharges quickly, and her D.Va bomb remains powerful if placed correctly. However, her main weakness is her weakness to beam weapons like Symmetra's, Mei's, or Zarya's, which can easily overpower her. Unlike other tanks like Orisa, who have trouble against beams due to their defences, D.Va's only defence move, the Defense Matrix, doesn't work against beams, leaving her with few options against them. She's also somewhat easier to take down compared to other tanks, but her high damage output and ability to counter Pharah and Echo by flying up to attack them make her a solid choice. Still, be prepared to switch if you encounter hard counters. But still, I believe that she is one of the most fun tanks to play if you play her well, even if other people do not agree.

Overwatch is a well-loved game, with vivid colours, and many different characters who each have different abilities. It is a hit game among the gaming community. Not to mention the in-depth background that was made for each character. But there are just so many characters to choose from. I will share who the best option will be for each category! I will go over the damage, health, abilities, etc. but in the meantime, who is your favourite Hero to play?
