imho I don't think tai lung was really robbed of anything, bro was unworthy of the Dragon Warror title from the get go.

Something that always strikes out to me about the entire situation was when Tai Lung gets an opportunity to do a minute of inward thinking, he just goes back to violence.

Hell, not even look inwards. He gets what he wants TWICE but because they weren't in the circumstances his expectations created he goes back to violence.

Shifu telling Tai Lung he was always proud and amitting that he was wrong? Nope, Tai Lung says screw the apology and goes for the scroll.

Literally GETS THE SCROLL and when he saw that it didn't give him the answers or power he was looking for he doesn't stand down, just goes right back to fighting.

Tai Lung refusing to any type of inward thinking, choosing to go back to violence, or release any control shows his lack of humility thus unworthiness of the Dragon Warrior title.
