This is totally inspired by @bio-hazard’s fake dating fic, but I think it’s different enough, also inspired by a Reddit story I saw that’s probably not real.

So you’re invited to your ex’s wedding, and they’re getting married to the person that they cheated on you with six months ago…

Of course you can’t go alone!!!

So you send out an ad on Craigslist or something for a fake date and Charlie responds just cause he thinks it’ll be funny.

And you have to practically interrogate him to make sure he’s not a murderer so you learn a whole bunch about each other and also so your stories match up if people ask about your very real relationship!

And so you guys roadtrip together and you share the same hotel, one bed, blah blah blah… And you have to spend multiple days before the wedding at like the bachelorette party because omg the person your ex is marrying is your old best friend???

And you get upset or something and Charlie comforts you cause ufghhhhhh yummy…

And you guys have to go to the rehearsal dinner together and get interrogated by your ex’s family because “whatever happened between you two? I always liked you two together!” And obviously that ticks you off a little…

And during the actual ceremony, you walk out just before anyone would notice cause you’re mega pissed, Charlie following close behind.

And you guys find some kind of coat closet or bathroom where you could be alone, and…

Hehehe things happen… Like a kissy…

And you promise him that he’s not a rebound, that you’re completely over your ex, that the only reason you’re having this reaction is because they just make you mad, and he wasn’t even worried about that.

Instead, he offers you some stress relief…

And you guys don’t come back until the reception, stealing the show from your ex as a final fuck you.

AND THEN!

Your ex accuses your relationship with Charlie of being fake, maybe in front of everyone but maybe just in private, and so you show them the hickeys Charlie left on your skin just an hour ago and leave them speechless.
