Deep in the woods, under the veiled canopy of trees, where the smell of rotting wood and mushrooms perfume the air-

There is a well.

A very special well.

At night you can hear singing, laughing, see jolly lights from somewhere far below.

You peer over the edge, the light dancing in your eyes and the smell of candy floss in your heart as you try to see what the laughter is about.

But a moth fluttering too close to a candle’s flame will eventually be burned.

Perhaps you lose your grip naturally, perhaps a vine around the well suddenly moves to push you in.

Either way, the next time singing is heard coming from the well…

Your voice is now in that joyous chorus.

It's really hard to explain what I mean but yknow that moment in the show where the protagonist realises who is pulling all the strings and it all clicks into place. But it implicates their companion in the process? And they turn around to tell their companion about their revelation and the shot changes and you can just see the companion is already 5 steps ahead of them. They're got this knowing look and a smarmy smile on their face. And before the protagonist even gets to speak they have a silent moment of "we both know what we know." LITERALLY MY FAVOURITE TYPE OF VILLAIN REVEAL.

ITS GREAT LAKES AWARENESS DAY!!!!!

On this excellent day, be aware that this is the largest group of freshwater lakes in the world, covering over 95,000 square miles and reaching depths of over a thousand feet. They are beautiful freshwater seas.

Also when you die in these lakes, the very cold, oxygen-poor conditions at the bottom preserves you perfectly for all eternity. You will not rot and nothing will eat you. You will exist for as long as the Great Lakes do. Many shipwrecks still have the crew on board. Be Aware.
