I need help.

My niece (about 11) came to new years and asked me if I could keep a secret, especially from her mum (My sister in law). At first I'm like, oh, it's probably just something she's embarrassed to talk about, but then she started rambling about how she joined this group called 'Team Sky' and she's going to give her Torchic a jetpack? Apparently they're planning to capture Rayquaza?? which she called 'Skydios'??? to 'expand the skies'????

(I know, it sounds silly, but she was saying it with so much conviction)

At this point I'm genuinely worried she's joined a cult like those Magma and Aqua groups from a few years back, so I search them up, but the only mention I can find is some guy who keeps getting his Pokemon taken by customs?

Please. If anyone knows anything more about this 'Team Sky', please please please tell me. If this group is dangerous I have to tell my sister in law so she can properly keep her from doing this, regardless of the trust my niece has in me.

Eg. '"Hey Aru, what's up?" I say as I walk into the room.'

Or like '(Character name) comes up to you and asks you to battle'

My character is going to be speaking as a blog poster, not as someone offline who is seeing events unfold in realtime, so asks where someone tries to interact like they're there in the room with Aru wouldn't really work with this style of blog.

An example of an 'online' ask would be;

'Ask: What's your favourite colour?

Character: Green!'

As opposed to

'Ask: *Walks up to you* "What's your favourite colour?"'

Tldr, I'd prefer that people act as if this blog is an actual blog inside of the Pokemon world, and not interact with it like they're talking to Aru in the character's 'real life'
