I’m gonna miss this

I’ve been watching Supernatural for the past 6-7 years approximately, since I was in middle school. And my god am I attached to this show.

It was there when my mental health was at my lowest and at my highest. Its just always been there for the past few years. I always sat down the day after the latest episode aired to watch it on those shady streaming sites because I’m not American and couldn’t access CW online or on cable. 

I created a fanpage for it on instagram (now its more of a dead meme page though) and on tumblr (again its not as SPN centered as it once was). I did my fair share of reading and writing fanfic (never published it though). And while at times I got busy with life and wasn’t as active in the fandom, I still ended up catching up to it. 

And now its ending. Obviously it was going to happen but it just hits different now that its actually happening. And with everything happening in the season itself is stressing me more bc I can’t tell myself “yeah, whatever cliffhanger the writers pull at the end will just be addressed/solved next season”. Makes me A N X I O U S. 

I don’t know why I’m writing this. My friend said that even though a show ends you can always be apart of its fandom. And even though I ultimately will no longer be part of the fandom, the show and the fandom will always be part of me (as cheesy at it sounds). 

I’m sad because it may just end how I don’t want it to end at all, but also happy because maybe it’ll end perfectly. Either way, we’ll see. Then we’ll all come here to sob together about it, and that sounds good. 

Oh and feel free to message me anytime about how you’re feeling about the ending and what your theories are! I’d be happy to listen (and speak bc none of my friends are as invested in spn as I am and I have no one else to rant to about this so much except for you guys)
