In the twilight of history's tapestry, nestled within the bustling heart of modernity, creatures of myth and magic have coexisted alongside humanity's fragile mortal coil. For centuries, they whispered secrets in the wind, danced in the shadows, and wove their arcane destinies amidst the mundane bustle of human life. But as the relentless light of modernity spilled upon the world, the veil of secrecy frayed, revealing a hidden truth: beings of fantastical essence, once relegated to folklore and legend, walked among mortals, silent witnesses to the unfolding drama of human civilization.

Tensions ebbed and flowed like the tides of an unseen sea. Fear and curiosity mingled in the hearts of humanity, while the creatures of old navigated a world that both revered and reviled their presence. Decades passed in whispered negotiations and fragile truces, until a pivotal moment arrived. The governance, tasked with preserving order amidst rising discord, made a solemn decree: a city would be allocated, a sanctuary where creatures could dwell under the watchful eyes of both human and kindred alike.

Magead, a city frozen in time and whispered of as the forsaken "City of the Dead," emerged from the annals of neglect and decay, its ancient stones bearing witness to forgotten sorrows and untold mysteries. Once shunned for its eerie quietude and spectral whispers, it now beckoned as a haven reborn—a metropolis where the pulse of magic intertwined with the heartbeat of humanity, where skyscrapers rose alongside ancient citadels, and where cobblestone streets echoed with the footsteps of creatures both ancient and newborn.

As dusk settles over the resurrected cityscape, Magead stands as a testament to reconciliation forged in the crucible of adversity. Its enchanted spires pierce the urban skyline, casting shadows that dance in the flickering glow of arcane lanterns. hi everyone! my name is kati, and i am one of your neighborhood admins. i've been apart of the ~scene for about sixteen(ish??) years now, and while i've taken the occasional hiatus, i've never been able to stay away. collaborative writing has a special place in my heart. my favorite plot lines are mostly angst based; found family, enemies-to-lovers, dumpster fires attempting to navigate life, etc. i enjoy organic chemistry, and character development. some of the fun is in seeing where things go! as for more of a personal base, i'm a bit of a crazy cat lady who spends most of her time talking about them and some about her husband. if I'm not here or with them, I'm probably at a car show or two (esp during summer/fall). however, my dm's are always open to chat and to muse -- can't wait to write with you all!
