Barista Tips
Hey!
I have an interview at a barista stand this next week! It’s my favorite stand in my small town! I need help with tips that may be able to help me stick out in the interview or that the owner would like. I have 4+ years in the restaurant business but 0% about being a barista! I really want this job, the money would help my financial situation so well too. Thanks. SOS

grimoire ideas:
this can be used in a book of shadows, book of knowledge, path journal, etc.
Tumblr media
✧ table of contents: so you don’t have to flip through to find whatever you’re looking for
✧ a page all about you : helps to make it more personalized. you can add your favorite herbs, crystals, plants, incense, tarot cards and just about anything that’s important to your craft. you can write what your path is and what interested you about it. you can add your natal chart.
✧ goals: goals in your path (can be included on the page about you)
✧ calendar: you can write down the lunar phases on it, holidays important to your craft such as Esbats or Sabbats
✧ elements: what they stand for. their importance. correspondence.
✧ herbs/plants/flowers: I wouldn’t put every herb but write down the ones that you most commonly use and their correspondence
✧ crystals: exact same as the herb page.
✧ runes: exact same as herb page.
✧ candles: you can write down what each color represents.
✧ witch tools: write down the tools you use. maybe their importance or what you use them for.
✧ lunar phases: draw them out or print them out and write down their symbolism
✧ astral plane: information about the astral plane and astral projection. your experience with astral projection.
✧ deities: info about your deity/deities (their history, picture, correspondence). offerings ideas. invocations.
✧ rituals/rites/songs: any sort of rituals you do for cleansing, daily rituals etc. anything that’s important to your craft.
✧ spells: you can separate them by their use such as love spells, luck spells, etc.
✧ recipes: for kitchen witchcraft or how to make moon/sun water, elixirs, potions, oils, or just witchy diys!
✧ dream work: accounts of any dreams you’ve had. meaning of dreams. (if applicable)
✧ sigils: how to draw them. how to charge. list of other sigils. (if applicable)
✧ astrology: natal chart. info on the zodiac. what each element/planet/house/aspects mean. celestial events. (if applicable)
✧ tarot/oracle: what each card means. tarot/oracle spreads. results. (if applicable)
✧ pendulum: a pendulum board.
✧ spirit work: info on spirits you have been in contact with. offerings. (if applicable)
✧ energy points: how you use them. their meaning. what stones you can use for each. (if applicable)
✧ auras: different auras. what each color aura means. (if applicable)
✧ familiar: info about them. (if applicable)
✧ alter: traveling alter page. how it’s setup. pictures/drawings of it. (this is also helpful if you’re not open about your craft)
✧ knots: knot magick (if applicable)
✧ reflections: personal reflections.
✧ ancestors: your ancestor line.
✧ resources: info from books you’ve read.
you can decorate your book with dried up leaves/flowers, illustrations, collages, colored pen/markers. I would recommend adding a protection sigil. by no means do you have to make your book aesthetically pleasing, do whatever works for you! In my case, the nicer it is the more I’ll use it. add whatever is important to your craft, don’t add stuff you’re not going to need or use. make it your own!

I live in a super small town and U have been going around trying to find things that would help my craft, candles, altar peices, and such. Look what I found today! Silver, gold, pink gold, and red candles! At the dollar store! And i found this little heart box at a thrift store! It was 50 cents! Also, almost all my other altar pieces are from the dollar store or in my house that I already had. Coming together! Slowly but surely.

The Road to 1000 Giveaway
Reposted because nothing I post is appearing in the tags!!
Tumblr media
These past two and a half weeks, for me, have been such an amazing experience. I started posting to tumblr simply as a place to get my raging thoughts out of my head and help others along the way, and I never once expected my blog to grow to the size it’s at now. I have almost 500 wonderful followers, and every day I look at my blog and realized just how blessed I actually am. That’s why today, I’ve decided that I’m going to give back to the community. You all have been showing me so much postivity and support, and it’s time for me to show you all just how much you all actually mean to me <3
Whats included?
Two hand drawn sigils
Inscribed and blessed positivity candle
Positive vibes spell bottle
Cleansing Salt
Blessed Water
Labradorite
Fire Coral
Turquoise
Rose Quartz
Amethyst
Clear Quartz Point
Descriptions and/or directions for everything that comes in the giveaway
And lastly, there will be one surprise item that is not shown in these pictures.
Rules and how to enter
You MUST be a follower!!! Please do not follow me if you have intentions of unfollowing after the giveaway is over, that would just make me sad :c
Reblog or like the post. Doing both gives you two entries!
Winner will be chosen via RNG two weeks from the post date (30/1/2019)
Once a winner is chosen, you have 24 hours to respond or I will choose a new winner.
Crystal closeups
When picking out all the crystals, I had the young witch in mind. These are all very basic crystals that every beginner is going to want or need for their practice. As a note though, the turquoise and fire coral both have small holes in them as they were given to me by my mother who was going to turn them into jewelry, this has no effect on the energy though so don’t fret ^u^

Witchy things questions
Okay, I’m starting to collect information and things about this craft, and I have questions from experienced individuals,
Can candles represent gods and goddess instead of statues?
What do you do to meditate?
What are some things you add to your altar from outside? (I live in rural MT)
Do you keep an altar in your bedroom? I dont know how my bf would react to an altar.
And any other advice I would really appreciate!

A witches dictionary
Ever hear some things? Not sure what they mean? Check out this mini witches dictionary with a few of the most basic witchcraft terminology!
Altar: a place to do and practise Magickal things like spells and rituals or meditation. Also used for inspiration and honouring the deceased
Astral projection: projecting your spirit out of your body in order to be somewhere else. Often done by dreaming, can be very dangerous *only to be practiced by experienced witches
Athame: a Magickal tool/object in the shape of a knife or sword, not used for real harm, only symbolic
Balefire: a fire that has been lit/made for Magickal purposes like spells, rituals etc.
Besom: a witches broom used to banish negativity and negative energy
Book of shadows: also known as a grimoire that contains spells, rituals and anything else that is important to the witch who owns it
Call: a term used that means the same as invoking
Cauldron: represents the goddess when doing spells and rituals and is often filled with water or flowers
Cleansing: removing negative energy from yourself, others or spaces you are in
Coven: a group of at least 3 witches who get together and practise spells and rituals and celebrate sabbats or Esbats together
Covenstead: the meeting place of which a coven will meet
Divination: to be able to see into the future using psychic powers or tools and other methods such as scrying, tarot cards etc.
Elements: the 5 elements of the world. Air, fire, water, earth and spirit
Esbat: a gathering/celebration of witches that is not on a sabbat
Familiar: an animal that is connected and used by a witch in their witchcraft, the animal is thought to have Magickal abilities and a strong bond with the witch
Handfasting: a pagan wedding! Time for celebration!!!!
HPS and HP: short for high priestess of a coven (hps) and high priest of a coven (hp)
Intent: a goal/purpose of a spell/ritual/Magickal working
Patron deity: a specific deity you feel a connection with and prefer to use in your magick
Pentacle: a five pointed star representing the elements and is enclosed in a circle and is a symbol for protection on witches and Wiccans that is used a lot
Pentagram: a 5 pointed star much like a pentacle except not enclose in a circle, despite popular belief the pentagram is not a symbol of satanism
Runes: ancient symbols from an ancient Nordic alphabet often used in witchcraft
Sabbat: 8 festivals in the wicca/pagan/witchcraft community that happen every year and are a time for celebration and honouring
Scry: look deeply/gaze into an object in order to see a Magickal effect, when being used it is called “scrying”
Sigil: a magick symbol placed on an object as a seal and needs to be charged in order for the power to manifest
Samhain: probably the bigger sabbat celebration in the calendar marking the pagan/witchcraft and wicca community’s new year. The best time for divination work and contacting the deceased as the vein is very thin that night between the spirit world and the human world, so it is also appreciated to celebrate the dead on this night, also know as “Halloween” and is celebrated on the 31st of October - 2nd of November
Please add on more :) 🖤
