I know)#and the way they treated him pissed me off so bad- I dropped the manhwa and just started drawing him myself 😭#(Mr. Zhao is an OC inspired by Mr. Shen by this point though. It started as fanart but they're Not the same person anymore)#NO BECAUSE the WAY he didnt even look old anymore in future chapters (and even age regressed at some point) made me tweak OUUTT #I was Completely Okay! with the plot being bonkers crazy goofy AS LONG as that grown man serving fem was there #I CAME HERE FOR OLD MEN WEARING DRESSES WHERE IS IT #(ok he's not “old-old” but he's on the Older side ykwim. he's middle aged- he's a dad)#I don't follow the artist or writer of the manhwa so I cant be a good judge as for why the manhwa went as it did #because there could be some context that Im missing (I'm sure there's a good and valid reason for it)#BUT still. [Toon x Mobster] A Change of Heart. Read previous comic for context!

Due to an accident regarding Grace (info still withheld), Gavriel ended up getting dismembered by hostiles, but was brought back to life by Neuroveire, who gave a piece of her heart to Gavriel's dead one.

This ended up reshaping Gavriel's psyche into something different from the one Grace grew up with, and it's led to her becoming uncertain whether the person she's talking to is still Gavriel or a reanimated corpse. (But that'll be resolved in the future of course.)

(There's more context I'm not showing because I have WIPs to accompany them.)
