At the attempt to persuade that he wasn't serious, Lily blinked as well. It was a bit obvious that she could see straight through that and she is calling bullshit. She tilted her head just slightly, her eyebrows furled before one raised. "Really?" The disbelief dripped from her tone. "Because it sure looked like you were pretty serious just then."
A SCOLDED CHILD STANDING IN THE KITCHEN, HANS BLINKS. "Well, I'd rather not now." And yet, he still attempts to defend himself and his harebrained, ridiculous scheme: "And I was kidding, obviously, of course I wasn't being serious!" He was, in fact, being serious.
