As we all know literature will only improve if we never criticise anyone ever.

Imagine if other jobs operated like this. Imagine you couldn't call out an attourney for trying to mount your defence in Esperanto because he's just expressing himself.

You're right, being needlessly mean to 15 year olds posting poetry on Tumblr is the same as telling your lawyer to stop speaking Esperanto. It's exactly like that.

Lokius Week 2025 - Day 7: Free Day

The Avengers (2012) interrogate Loki (TVA) about his new "partner".

Just a silly little thing that couldn't leave my mind, I just wanted to use that picture of Mobius leaning down LOL

forever thinking about mobius being insanely protective of loki, specifically these two moments:

in that first scene, mobius is still amused when b-15 picks at loki, asking him what his jacket says — he knows loki can handle himself, and right now the only weapon he has is his silver tongue.

but then b-15 calls him a cosmic mistake and that's crossing the line. he's quick to cut interaction, no longer amused.

(headcanon: because there seems to be an ambiguous "time jump" between s1 ep 1 and 2, loki and mobius had time to build some sort of working relationship. personally, i love the idea that, even though mobius knows he's got this insane obsessive crush on loki, getting to be around the variant really makes his protective instinct kick in full force.)

the second scene from s2 e2 is a little different only because now loki and mobius have history — their relationship has morphed into something stronger, more meaningful. they've each risked something (or multiple somethings) for the other.

so now it's even more personal to mobius.

instead of the casual, yet stern, "okay, that's enough." from s1, in s2 he sounds much more irritated. his usually calm exterior cracks momentarily, absolutely hating how x-5 is talking to loki.

and another thing: when mobius explodes and slaps x-5, he says to him "you're a silly little man" and idk that sounds a lot like he was still holding onto x-5 calling loki a pathetic little man.............but that's just me.............

anyway, um, i think about protective mobius a lot :)

was talking to a coworker and realised i could not for the life of me remember his name but i was too embarrassed to ask because we've spoken multiple times so mid-conversation i started concocting a plan to nudge the conversation towards the ID photos on our building passes so that i could be like oh my ID photo is awful haha the camera they use to take these has a real talent for making me look as unphotogenic as possible and then he would say oh yes me too haha everyone says that (because they do) and then i would be able to say well let me see yours it can't be as bad as mine! and he would show me his ID because we are coworkers and why wouldn't he and this would allow me to see his building pass which of course would have his name on it and then i would be able to say well yours is perfectly nice it must be me that's the problem! and then we would have a polite chuckle about it and i would have his name without needing to ask for it and he would be none the wiser and all would be well but then before i could execute this fine plan a little voice in my head went "so this is some light yagami bull shit you are about to pull" which was such a violent reality check it shocked me completely out of my embarrassment and i went "hey im so sorry your name has slipped my mind could you remind me" and he did and it was fine.
