With the help of great friends, I'm beginning a new project called the #firehousemusicseries . We will be focusing on Detroit's local musicians who we know, respect and appreciate. This series aims to provide a quality visual resumé for the artists who perform and a solid opportunity to reach a larger audience. So I gotta tell y'all this story. Yesterday I'm at work, tryna get this 💰 and I get a party of 10. In walks @thepnkpnda with table cloth, cupcakes, gifts, etc. I'm always impressed by anyone who brings their own decorations. The ladies keep filing in, everyone's stylish and so, I'm like "I should Be Here!" I find out that all these women in attendance are blogging, fashion focused, and GETTING IT! So, I took the opportunity to speak about what I do with @rockcitylookbook and for my city. Moral of the story, I felt kinda bad that I was serving them instead of sitting with them, but I shook it off and realized that I was there already, right in the room. Thank you ladies for allowing me to share my story, while at work . This was an amazing event to watch. Next time, I'll be sure to be in actual attendance. Lol.
