It’s absolutely bullshit. I had to fight my doctor to get medicated because he was adamant it was just poor sleep. And he wasn’t wrong but also the years of documented executive dysfunction being the reason I got poor sleep because I had to stay up late doing things meant I also needed meds.

Lo and behold that now that I have been making myself go to bed early (by programming a Star Trek computer to remind me of my current task all day) suddenly life doesn’t suck and I can thrive.

But it would have been easier to stomach if Dr Bob was wrong.

sleeping regularly obviously isn't fixing my issues. But it does have a noticeable impact. You can't imagine how furious this makes me

shipping characters who are just friends in canon is more than okay but what’s annoying is when people take screenshots of them touching and say “friends don’t do that!”. i hate to break it to you but friends do hug and hold hands and cuddle. saying ‘friends don’t do that’ is reenforcing the idea that physical touch is reserved for lovers
