What are the roles each parent takes from our throuple when their babies are sick?

Liv is always the one who can tell when the kiddos are coming down with something, it’s that mom instinct. So at the first sign of illness, she’s giving elderberry gummies and stocking up on meds. Once it hits, she’s there for snuggles, clean up, keeping track of what meds were given when and when is the next dose, etc.

Jake doesn’t handle vomit well-if he sees/smells/hears it, he’ll be sick too. So he generally steers clear when a GI bug hits. Otherwise he’s happy to wipe noses, fill humidifiers and make his mama’s homemade chicken noodle soup.

Bradley is a little lost what to do the first time his baby gets sick. Jake’s on the phone with the pediatrician and Liv just put the baby down for a nap and is quickly trying to catch up on laundry because they’re down to the last crib sheet. So when he hears the pitiful cries start in the nursery, he does what his mom always did. “Hey sweetheart,” he murmurs, smiling when the fussing stops at his voice, “C’mere, daddy’s got you.” Liv finds them both fast asleep in the rocker a half hour later and Bradley becomes the designated cuddler.
