Ok so the filler arc for the six month training period will be supervised by Tabata and that's great news because a lot of people want to know just what happened there plus it's bound to be a good arc

but can we be respectful to him in the time that he supervises it, please?

The man's supervising an entire anime arc on top of the manga entering arguably a super important arc and arguably difficult part on that.

Please understand that with weekly episodes and weekly chapters, this is a lot of work, so it could be possible that they might change their schedule for both. Please don't harass any of the creators for rescheduled releases, especially considering the state of the world and the fact that many mangaka have suffered repercussions from overwork and tight deadlines.

Let's all support Tabata, his team and studio pierrot in this.

Black Clover characters and hugging

Asta: The undisputed hug champion. Gives the BEST hugs and gives them freely. Will probably pick you up if he feels like it. Doesn’t matter if you’re a head taller.

Noelle: Horribly awkward, never gives out hugs but gladly accepts them if she trusts the person. Sort of just stands there not knowing what to do with her hands.

Yami: The one-armed hug type. Pats your back so hard you splutter and cough. May or may not have broken someone’s ribs before. Hugging not recommended.

Finral: Three types of hugs, happy (jump-tackle hug), comforting someone else (gentle but awkward), and being comforted himself (clinging to you wailing and sobbing). Clingy type.

Vanessa: Clingy type up to eleven. Extremely touchy when drunk and near-impossible to shake off once she latches on. Will probably get drool and booze on you. Not recommended.

Magna: Tries to imitate Yami’s style, with mixed results. Actually gives pretty good hugs when he doesn’t try to copy him. Also generally the one-armed type, may or may not mess up your hair.

Luck: Clingy, but only when he’s in the mood. May pick you up if he feels like it, but may also electrocute you to get you to fight him. Hug at your own risk.

Charmy: Jump-tackle type, but harmless because she’s so tiny. May or may not try to climb you like a tree. Beware of her going into koala mode or trying to shove food in your face.

Mimosa: Sweet and chill. Gives out hugs freely, but they’re usually light and don’t last long, unless something’s the matter. May or may not rub your back a little.

Klaus: Generally too tsundere to hug, but if he does, prepare to get your ribcage crushed. Or knocked over. Or launched up into the air. Occasionally all three of them.

Langris: …Look, unless you have a death wish, don’t even try. Exceptions may apply for Finral after character development.

Leo: One of Asta’s rivals for Best Hugger, but not quite strong enough to beat him. Also gives them out pretty freely, occasionally against the hug-ee’s will.

Mereoleona: Very similar to Yami in style and strength. Actually has broken people’s ribs before. Only the very bravest venture into her hugging range.

Sol: Would also be Asta’s rival for Best Hugger if she didn’t exclusively give hugs to women. Still, if you’re a girl, chances are you may actually prefer her hugs over Asta’s or Leo’s.

Yuno: Flat-out refuses to hug anybody. Gets hugged by Asta anyway. Actually likes it. Pushes away anyone else who even thinks of trying.

also, Yuno is such a good rival? like, the way he is written? you know how most shonen rivals have very obvious unacceptable flaws that not only are in the way of their objective but also put them very far behind the protagonist in terms of development and that usually is the reason they lose to the protagonist by the end. Sasuke going evil to become powerful is an indicator he is never going to beat naruto, who didnt need this to become powerful, even though sasuke eventually came back to the right path. Vegeta always has to catch up to Goku because he is only trying to be strong enough to be the strongest, Bkg is morally behind Izuku because somehow he just now has learned to save people even though he wants to be the number one hero, etc, forgive me if I got these characters wrong here, the point is, the rival usually loses their lead for some obvious flaw that the hero doesn’t have. And yeah, I know this is usually how rivals and villains are written and that there’s nothing wrong with that, but then there’s Yuno.

Yuno is very different. He knows he is gifted with amazing magical power and he still trains very hard, and not only his magic, but his body. He is a moral person who wants to win but also wants to help people and to be a good ruler. Even though he is a genius and asta has no magic, he has never underestimated him and always took their rivalry seriously. He trains really hard even though asta is far behind him in the eyes of most people, because he respects him and knows his rival is very capable, so he is never gonna be far behind him. Yuno, at least as far as now, doesn’t have any clear flaw that is obviously an obstacle to him becoming the wizard king and that would give Asta an advantage. He could actually win and become wizard king. And if Yuno was to become wizard king instead of asta, could anyone say he wasn’t fit for the job? that he isn’t deserving? no they can’t, he knows the flaws of the system, he wants to fix them, he wants to help people.

Asta really has to be better than Yuno, he can’t win because of some big ideological flaw of Yuno, or because Yuno got too cocky and underestimated him allowing to catch up, or whatever, Asta needs to surpass him in all his strength, all his morals, all his hard work, and all his advantages, Asta really needs to be the most fit for the throne, and he knows this and this pushes him forward - and Yuno also knows this, and works hard as well. This is why I believe Yuno to be a great rival,  because he is one that actually makes the protagonist better.

Ok as someone who binged black clover and just finished catching up to date in the manga i just wanna note that there are so many things that this show is getting me so hyped about.

SPOILERS FROM CHAPTER 230 OR SOMETHING, JUST AFTER ENTERING HEART KINGDOM

Like with just finding out that Yuno is actually a prince of a once PEACEFUL kingdom and how it explains his talent but honestly, who didn't expect something like that. And then you see a flashback of a blonde woman saying please live or i love you or something while Asta is being overwhelmed by his demon and if that doesn't say that his past is actually kinda cool idk what does and there's so much potential like i doubt that Asta came from the underworld but it could explain his lack of magic or something similar to Yami. Not to mention the guy who told Yuno about his fam, im pretty sure mentioned Asta before Yuno sooo there's bound to be some connection there

And then no demon knows Astas demon and they're all assuming him to be low rank but im ready for them to rip out some fucking OP abilities (kinda does already anyway) and tear everyone a new one. They seem like such a petty bitch and ready to throw hands and then step on those they defeat (it happened with the 1st demon, does it even have a name? Idk).

AND THEN NEEDING YAMI AND VENGEANCE TO GET INTO THE UNDERWORLD AND REALISE ALL DEMONS GOT ME SOOO HYPED!!! LIKE BOTH THEIR MAGIC WAS REALLY SPECIAL ANYWAY AND NOW KNOWING THAT THEY'RE THAT COMPATIBLE REALLY MAKES THERE RELATIONSHIP DEEPER AND IM SO HYPED TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE DEMONS ARE LET OUT (Its shounen, worst case scenario followed by a massive win, probably a few mc deaths :(( )

And then theres all the new spells like Grey I love you so so much and Luck and Leo training together, Yuno becoming vice after 18 months is such a power move stg, ASTA NOW RIDING ON HIS SWORD JUST SCREAMS BIG DICK ENERGY TOO, and Noelle's better magic control is so good to see, i really didnt like her in the anime but she's portrayed so much better in the manga. Just ugh everyone has gotten so much better after 6 months. Also Nero (im assuming :/) at the end of the last chapter is so fucking cool??? I love her so much.
