How I think Monopoly with the dead poets would go:

Meeks is immediately elected banker because he's the only one they all trust enough to not cheat (he is definitely not above cheating but he never has to because he's just annoyingly naturally good at games like this). Throughout the rest of the game he gets repeatedly harassed by everyone when he takes a second too long to give them their money, and he has to slap Charlie at one point for trying to rob the bank.

Knox buys everything he lands on, forgets to call rent, gets really unlucky, and becomes bankrupt 15 minutes in. He is an incredibly sore loser and spends the rest of the game sulking, after asking if he could be banker now he's out and being yelled at immediately.

Neil takes pity on all the shit, low-value properties than no one wants and buys up the really crappy side of the board, taking his responsibilities very seriously. It turns out to be a great tactic and he ends up with an unassuming wall of death with hotels left right and centre, and everyone hates him for it. (He makes sure to be distracted by something and not call rent when someone lands on his properties who's doing badly.)

Cameron takes way too long deciding how to spend his money, and is also constantly referring to the rules, despite loud objections from Charlie. He likes to correct the way they're playing but nobody listens to him. He also constantly ends up in jail, which he is not amused by in the slightest, but which the others most decidedly are.

Charlie causes the game to be at least 60% more chaotic than it would be without him, by aggressively throwing money at people he owes, denying that he owes anything at all, moving houses on the board around when nobody's looking, demanding he be paid only in $1 bills, flicking his piece across the board in the vague direction he's supposed to be going, and chucking the dice at Knox's head at various intervals. He is also the cause of many tears in the paper money and the whole board being flipped at one point. Nobody even knows how well he's doing because he mainly just sabotages other people.

Todd is either ridiculously good at this game or just gets really lucky because he manages to get all of the really expensive properties and have loads of houses on them all. He calls rent in the most polite way possible but Meeks still has to stop Charlie from lunging himself at Todd when he calls rent on him. Todd and Neil have the most civilised business interactions ever, and are always thanking each other for their hospitality when they land on each other's properties, and promising to visit again.

Pitts doesn't know what's going on. He doesn't understand the premise of the game until about half an hour in. He has to be repeatedly reminded which counter is his, and what he owns, which is very little. Eventually he lands himself in jail with Cameron and just decides to stay there and everyone lets him.

About The Stites

Nathan and Chris are fraternal twins. Chris is older by 12 minutes. Their full name is Christina Noëlle Stites & Nathanaël Léonel Stites.

Chris was always taller than Nathan by 5 cm. When they turned 15 their height are pretty much the same. It's when they're 18 the height difference are very clear where Chris is 170 cm and Nathan's 182 cm

They were born and raised in Kaysersberg, France by their single mom but later moved to Vermont at 7 y.o to live with their aunt for a couple of months.

After half a year of living with their aunt's family, Their mom finally came to Vermont. At first they thought it was to bring them back home to France, But turns out their mom has bought a house in Vermont and told them for now on this is their home.

Their single mother now worked as a special education teacher.

She loves gardening very much that their backyard looks like out of a fairytale. She dreamed of having a flower shop one day.

Back in France, everyone calls them "Noël & Léon" but now only their mom and aunt does it. The people in Vermont called them by "Chris & Nate" which felt very odd and awkward for them. but they've grow fond of it. Makes their middle names even more special, they think.

Both Nathan and Chris had a hard time fitting in with their new school. On the first day, no one really talk to them, only asking questions and never a full conversation.

They were always put in different class since their mom wants them to hang out with other kids. It was never a problem before but a new environment makes them felt even more lonely.

When breaktime comes, Nathan will always wait for Chris infront of her class to go sit together at the canteen and when school ended Chris will wait for Nathan.

Meet My Ex Boyfriend

Steven: "Buon giorno, Dr. Stites!"

Nathan: "Eh bien... If it isn't the magnificent Mr. Meeks. To what do i owe this pleasure?"

Steven, sighing: "Oh you know... Resisting the urge to scream on top of my lungs till weekends. The usual"

Nathan, frowns: "Aw poor bébé.."

Steven, smiling brightly: "Anyway, is it cool if i 'stick' around for the day?"

Nathan, grinning: "Usually i would say 'Why of course, meeksie!!!' but if you kept making that horrendous puns i might literally kick you out" Steven giggles at the remark and pouts, "Meanie." he said.

Nathan just stick his tongue out to Steven then look up from the boy. Finally noticing Charlie standing awkwardly five feet behind Steven.

Nathan: "Ah, pardon me. Is there anything i could do for you?"

Charlie, internally: *Idk maybe stop flirting with MY CRUSH*

"Oh- i just- uhm.."

Steven: "Ay that's right! i forgot to introduce you guys, i'm so sorry!"

Steven introduced them, they shake hands, Charlie and Steven sits at the table near the window. Tutoring goes well, they joked and chat a bit, Charlie asked Steven about Nathan, Steven answered it. Charlie goes back to his place before the sun sets. Steven stayed behind to help Nathan clean and organize.

Meanwhile,

Charlie barged into the apartment with a loud **BANG** making the two people on the couch jumped. "HE'S FRENCH" Charlie screamed.

"HE'S TALL, LEAN, BLONDE, AND FRENCH!!!! HOW CAN I COMPETE WITH THAT?????" He said while throwing himself on the couch that were no longer occupied.

Knox: "Who?"

Charlie: "NATHAN."

Knox: "Who's Nathan?"

Neil: "Wait yeah- i thought you were going out with Meeks-"

Charlie: "NATHAN IS STEVEN'S BESTFRIEND/ROOMATE/EX"

Neil: "Oh wow......."

Laying face flat on the couch, hair and outfit shambles. Charlie is a complete mess that if someone sees him right now, they would've assume he fell of the stairs or got run over by a car.

Silence fell over the room until Neil opens his mouth again, now kneeling besides him.

Neil: "Well...You're built, brunette, half-latino and still taller than Meeks. Also you're very charismatic, that's a bonus."

Charlie: "He majors in BIOCHEM while i'm an old boring marketing. Also, my great grandfather is latino so technically i'm a quarter-latino" voice muffled by the cushion.

Neil: "Oookay.. BUT, you play saxophone and write poems."

Charlie: "He played the piano, does gardening and likes to volunteer at a nursing home in his freetime"

"Well damn....Never thought i see a day where the great Charlie 'Nuwanda' Dalton got one upped by an average white gu-" Knox snickered.

Knox lunged at Charlie while he beared for the impact. Neil, having put up with this for years just decided to walk off and feed his neighbor's cat that somehow kept entering their apartment for the past few days.

"I think you're overthinking this, Charlie. If he IS as perfect as you said he was, then why would they even break up?" Neil said while petting the cat.

Charlie, still holding Knox in a chokehold: "Well i don't know, Neil! But it's only a matter of time before i see a blond nerd kissing a ginger nerd at the Inception bridge on Instagram!!"

Neil: "What's with you and your obsession with th-"

Knox: "Waitwaitwait- WAIT!"

Knox: "Did you just said he's blond?"

Charlie: "uhhh yeah? i've been saying that for like-"

Chris and Ginny hcs :)

Chris is the only person in the world who’s allowed to call Ginny “Virginia”. When they met for the first time as little kids Ginny’s mom introduced her as Virginia and Chris said it was a really pretty name.

That was the first and only time Ginny didn’t bother correcting her mom. (She was too busy staring at her new friend, the pretty little blonde girl named Chris)

Chris is a hopeless romantic and Ginny is more of a pragmatic kind of lover, which actually really contrasts their personalities outside of their relationship, what with Ginny being a theatre kid and Chris being… relatively normal

They each have lockets with a lock of the others hair in it <3

Chet and Chris are mostly civil except sometimes they throw things at each other

Oh and Chet wants to beat up Knox (canon) for messing with his sister’s girlfriend

Their first kiss was after Ginny got the main role in the play at Henley hall the year before it was a Midsummer Night’s Dream, when Chris was so excited and overjoyed she forgot to be platonic

Chris goes to all of Ginny’s plays and usually helps out in the costume or hair and makeup department because she’s good at that kind of stuff

Il Libro Mi Ricorda Te

Steven met Nathan for the first time at their local library. Nathan was sitting on the floor, back facing the classical fiction shelve. He was reading a book that's almost bigger than his head, it was Charles Dickens's 'Nicholas Nickleby' that Steven just returned yesterday. He was so focused on the book he didn't realize there's someone infront of him, shifting their legs awkwardly. That someone is Steven. He wanted to grab the book behind Nathan but seeing how invested he is, Steven felt bad if he interrupt, so he just stands there and wait for the blonde to notice him.

Still not budging after what feels like 15 minutes, Steven let out two small coughs and it manage to get the boy's attention. The blond boy looked up, and eyes met eachother. Time seems to froze just for a moment.

Steven can't seem to look away from the hazel eyes that pierce into him behind those glasses. "Bello." Steven thought and immediately slapping himself mentally, he felt embarrassed even though the boy can't hear it. His ears reddening and he lowered his head, breaking the eye contact.

"Uh- i- uhm- s-sorry to bother you.. but i want to grab that book behind you, if you could just move aside for a moment that would be very helpful. Please, and t-thankyou..." he says while pushing his glasses, still looking at his shoes like it's the most interesting thing. Now the blush on his ears traveled to his freckled cheeks. He felt very stupid and self conscious of how nervous he is.

Then, the boy infront of him starts to get up and Steven brave himself to look at the boy's shoes. But he was pretty confused cause instead of moving sideways, the boy instead turn around and grab a book and hand it to Steven. "Is this the book?" says the blond boy with a bit of accent that Steven wasn't sure of. Still not looking up, Steven says: "Yesitisthankyouverymuchhopeyouhavea wonderfuldaygoodbye!" and quickly grab the book, bowing his head to the boy then running as fast as he can to the library's front desk.

When he gets home, he quickly locked himself up in his bedroom and plop himself on the floor, trying to calm himself down. When he can normally breath again and clear his thoughts, he finally notice the book his been hugging. 'The Princess Bride by William Goldman' it says on the green hardcover.

It was infact not 'The Brothers Karamazov' that Steven was intend to borrow, but still he finished the book in one sitting and kept it for a week after writing down all of his favorite quotes in his journal and some on a ripped piece of paper that he puts neatly inside a small treasure box that his dad gave him on his birthday.

In one of the ripped papers, Steven wrote:

"There is no room in my body for anything but you. My arms love you, my ears adore you, my knees shake with blind affection. My mind begs you to ask it something so it can obey. Do you want me to follow you for the rest of your days? I will do that. Do you want me to crawl? I will crawl. I will be quiet for you or sing for you, or if you are hungry, let me bring you food, or if you have thirst and nothing will quench it but Arabian wine, I will go to Araby, even though it is across the world, and bring a bottle back for your lunch. At the age of 9, Steven starts to collect bunch of sticks and hazel leafs he found on the ground while walking through his neighborhood and put them inside the treasure box.

Not long after that encounter, Steven comes home from school with a surprised. There's a big dog with dark brown coat and a scar on its right side and its left front leg. Turns out his father had adopted the dog (a male, great pyrenees) at his friend's pet shelter. Steven's mom was quite furious about it since they can't even afford a car and now has to took care another being.

While his parents still arguing, Steven took a step closer to the dog and puts his hand infront of the dog's nose to sniff. Then he pets him gently and the dog wags its tail happily, so Steven began to scratch its fur while telling the dog that its a good boy.

His parents took notice of the interaction and they smile at eachother. Steven is an only child and not a very social kid, he spent most of his time reading books and tinkering in his bedroom. His only friend is the boy next door named Gerard Pitts, he's italian too and they met when the Pitts family invite them for dinner. Since then, their family became bestfriends and so does Steven and Gerard.

Still, his parents worry that he might feel lonely at home. So they both agreed to kept the dog and Steven named him after his favorite character on one of the book he had read. The name 'Fezzik' shows on a black dog collar and red food bowl.

NATHAN 'STICK' STITES

The meeting at the library was not the first time Nathan had met Steven. Nathan knew the boy infront of him is the same boy he goes to school with. But they never sit or talk with eachother, they don't even know eachothers names. Nathan just sometimes saw him passed by with a tall boy that he assume to be his bestfriend, and that was it. When he looked at the boy infront of him, his breath hitched. This is the first time he's able to see the boy properly. The way the sunlight had passed through the library window to hit the boy's orange hair making it look like a burning fire, and how it enhance his deep brown eyes and freckles. The boy infront of him shines bright and beautiful more than anything. He is mesmerizing, Nathan thinks.

He was too overcome by his emotions that he didn't realize the boy already broke the eye contact. The book sliding from his grip is the one that snap him out of it. He lets out a breath he's been holding. When the boy infront of him starts to speak, he listens to it intently as if he was recording it with his head. And just as he's done talking, Nathan first instinct is to immediately stands and turns around to grab the book behind him not even bothering to read the title, and hands it to Steven hoping it's the right one. When the boy quickly accept the book; thank him; and run away. Nathan can't help but hit his head with the book his been holding. "Bravo, Stick! Tu viens de te ridiculiser à nouveau..." He thought to himself.

Nathan comes home with a book on his hand that day. He decided to borrow the Nicholas Nickleby for a week even though he had finished it in one day. Everytime he looks at the book, he remembers the freckled boy that makes him feel warm and ticklish inside.

Le Souci Orange

Nathan grows fond of marigolds at the age of 9. He especially love the orange ones, his mom was quite excited when he ask if he could plant them in their backyard. So they planted orange marigolds together in their garden and Nathan can see it from his bedroom window. His mom was quite surprised how much care and attention He gives to those flowers and how he always greets the flowers good morning/night, even giving every each of them a name.

When asked about his sudden interest in the marigolds, Nathan just answered it with a shrug. not satisfied with the answer, his mom tickled him until he surrendered and told her that he thinks marigolds are beautiful in many ways possible. Just seeing them, brings warmth and happiness inside of him. The way they bloom and thrive under the sun is leaving him breathless and overwhelmed. Thinking if he is deserving to exist with such extraordinary being. Every problems he has seems not much of a problem anymore as long as they are around.

One day, Nathan brings a friend to his home. A boy with freckled face and spectacle hanging on his nose, but the most striking feature is the curly and bright orange hair. His mom then realized, it was never about a flower.
