黥 - Qing, one of the five punishments of Ancient China. Literally translating to tattoo, it was put on the face and a way to brand criminals to let the world know of their misdeeds.

After refusing to give up the 墨子 Mozi, a book written by the Mohist philosopher Mozi, 志力 Zhili is sentenced to become a victim of the burying of scholars. When the goddess 梦 Meng takes pity on her, she helps her escape her fate and sets Zhili on a journey to change the Qin dynasty as they know it.

“My family was entrusted with this book and swore to protect it with their lives… I intend to keep this oath despite their absence.”

This is a lil draft of my story for my animation project. Also my finished character design for Zhili. I think I'll make a turnaround sheet next hehe.
