Dofu is a quiet , charming cafe which is quite popular among the working people due to the proximity to 100ft road Indiranagar. This Korean restaurant serves authentic delicacies and offers a cute cozy atmosphere.Upon entering, you would be greeted by walls in bright colours, the additional outdoor seating makes this place perfect for a lunch date.
Our fascination with korean food made us choose this restaurant from n number of options available nearby, but it wasnât a bad choice.
After making ourselves comfortable it was the time to order our entree. We ordered a chicken dumpling & ginseng soup, honey and ginger pork stir fry. Along with it we ordered main course Yibin burning noodle which was actually a favorite delicacy of boatmen, from the city of Yibin. It has a little dry texture but the savour of the same is unforgettable. The award-winning and a must try dish was âChukka Mushiâ â we had never tasted anything like this before and were awestruck. in short â Food was love here..!! â¤
The staff members were really sweet and warm. I must say that Dofu has done a pretty good job in terms of authenticity and quality of food. A big thumbs up..!!

In India, tea is much more than a drink to begin your day with. It has become an integral part of the culture and life of every Indian. In fact, if you take a walk around any local Indian road, you will definitely find chaiwalahs (tea sellers) steaming up a hot Masala Chai for their customers. Tea is considered as the ideal companion for many occasions in India. Itâs the perfect way to enjoy a rainy day, the comforting cup on a winter morning and even a soothing drink on a hot summer afternoon. Tea is known to stimulate the senses and refresh the mind and body; therefore, it is consumed before big meetings, on a bad day, and to make your good day even better.
We being big time Tea-holics wanted to try out this new place for tea on lazy sunday Morning. Nice little budget friendly place to hangout with your bunch of people. It is situated at the centre of HSR opposite to Cult Gym, approachable and a happy spot.
We tried almost everything on the menu.. đ Starting from the awesome pakoras to chole bhature and flavored teas.
Best ones were : Paneer Pakore , Ginger Tea , Anda Pav , and Egg pakore.
Chole Bhature are good too, but huge in size. Make sure you have enough space to take that in..!!
Poori alu would remind you of your home. đ
Will definetely visit this place again to have the savory tea..!!
We would recommend this place if youâre a tea monger like us, n if you too feel that there is no problem in this word which cannot be solved with tea.. you must give this place a shot⌠đ
Cheers to all the tea Lovers..!!! Keep the love brewing đ

Float has a view onto the main square where you can witness the famed hustling and bustling.  Hike up to the top terrace for the best viewing! There are indoor and outdoor seating options at which to enjoy simple north India and Japanese meals. The vibe is fresh. It is known for its  quirky atmosphere and awesome Hookahs đ
The whole ambience is a feast for the eyes. . Â Have dinner on the roof top terrace or lounge under tented seating and enjoy a drink..
So coming to our order :
The drinks we ordered were, mojito and Sarkarâs prescription ( good if youâre having ruuny nose). They seemed to have a quite extensive spread of drinks..n were up to d mark.

Coming to food, we chose starters âChicken Sookha pooriâ which was delight for the eyes and taste was greatâŚ!!
Wooden noodles â We had to order this as there was nothing else available in Japanese cuisine menu. although it did not disappoint us.
Multi grain Chicken Sandwich â Great taste and full of flavours.
Full marks for the presentation and the ambience. Good food, service has a little scope of improvement but do mark this in your to-go list if you plan for a rooftop dining experience.

Restaurants devoted to eggs are hatching out all over the place. Isnât it unbelievable that the humble egg is so delicious and versatile? So we 2munchies were out this eve to hunt for our comfort food â Eggs đ and we found this nearby place â The eggfactory..!!
The general motto here is that âeverything tastes amazing!â And truly enough, this is a regular haunt for die-hard egg lovers. Whether you love your eggs desi style or with a fancy international twist, there are more than enough choices in here to please you.. Egg factory is the amazing cafe which gives you everything with egg either open or hidden in it. They take the delicacy of eggs to next level. They have a simple ambience with great food.
Out of the in-numerous choices we had, we decide to go with the below order :
Kothu Paratha â Oyako : Must try. Traditional dish with a twist.
Egg Kejriwal : A buttered toast, with a masala fried egg. god for a light evening snack.
Egg noodle wrap â Pocketed Egg with delicious noodles inside .
If you still cannot get enough of eggs, you can ask for extras too. Given the array of egg dishes that they have, you will need quite a few trips to taste everything on the menu, but whoâs complaining?
For amateur cooks like me, an egg added to anything makes a dish far more edible, and suddenly feeding people who have come to visit isnât a problem anymore. Like French chef Raymond Blanc puts it, âIf anyone does not have three minutes in his life to make an omelette, then life is not worth living.â If eggs are the real deal for you too, then weâll recommend this awesome place for all the egg lovers out there.

As we were looking for a nice way to spend a weekend evening and break the monotony of the working week, a coffee outing with my husband on a Saturday night sounded like a rather inviting prospect, especially when the venue in question was the Bloomsbury Cafe.. which we wanted to try out since long.
The Cafe is an impeccably run venue and offers an almost picture perfect balance between quaint and modern, refined and relaxed with an ambience too beautiful with a British theme. Bloomsbury is decidedly a smart place, yet the kind that doesnât make you uncomfortable should you pop over in casual clothes. The furniture and the colour scheme of the interiors is the right amount of cleverly calculated with a relieving touch of haphazard.
The food that we tried was delicious
Solo Pollo Pizza : Peppered chicken Salami, sausages and roasted chicken with cheese and oregano. We loved the taste of this dish, it was fresh, cheesy and all you can ask for in a Pizza.
Chicken kathâitos : Crispy fries Sriracha Chicken with lots of juicy and crunchy veggies makes it a must try.
Cafe Latte was just perfect as expected of any coffee house. đ and the desserts are a winning stroke here. We tried Adhara Cake slice and it left us craving for more.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
The menu has something to offer for everyone, which is something that we loved here. For vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, there is plenty to choose from. The menu has a mix of Italian, European, Thai and Mexican food â Not too heavy on pockets.
We would definitely recommend Bloomsbury Cafe for all sorts of meal; itâs ideal if you donât want to put too much pressure on the occasion and still have a lovely experience. đ

So you just have a day to eat your way through Calcutta? Fret not! Hereâs our guide to what you should eat and where. Letâs hope you keep up đ
Pravesh Panipuri : Pravesh Panipuri is not your ordinary chaat-wala bhaiyya. He serves 17 varieties of puchkas, has traveled to Australia & Bangkok and gives free puchkas to the school topper for a year. We tried some of the puchkas namely : Dahi puchka, aludum Puchka , Rocket Puchka ( the spiciest thing I have ever tried), chocolate Puchka, Ghugni, shezwan and the list goes on.. So make it in your list when you visit Kolkata, worth ever penny.. đ
 2. Macher Jhol & Alu Phoolkopir : We got lucky as it was our friendâs wedding and we got served with the authentic Macher Jhol which was finger licking good and left us asking for more. This dish can be found almost everywhere in Kolkata. So just in case youâre unable to find yourself a restaurant in the locale, knock on any Bengaliâs door and be surprised with what they have to offer. We would recommend Bhajahori Manna if you want authentic taste.
3. Tiretta Bazaar, Sun Yat Sen Street : If you are a late riser then chances are that you may miss the Chinese street breakfast of tiretta bazaar coz it starts at around 6am and by the time clock strikes 8 everything is finished. Momos, dimsums, strings of Chinese sausage, fishball noodle soup, pao and various other delectable treats are hawked by vendors to make your breakfast experience memorable. While youâre at it, stop by the shop selling Pork sausages and prawn chips and take them home as memories.
4. Sweets : KC Das : You might have eaten rasgullas all your life but if you havenât had ro shogollas in Kolkata, then whatâs the point? Well every one knows where this one is situated, right in the juncture of esplanade crossing, this place serves the flavours of the authentic bengali breakfasts, along with some delicious sweets! The sweet spread is huge, and is a feast for every sweet tooth.

You can try out gud (jaggery) roshugulla, mishti doi, gulabjamun, sondesh etc. đ and it will leave you contended for the day.
5. Kathi Roll at Zeeshan, Sarat Bose Road : Kathi Rolls literally define Kolkataâs streets, remaining unique to the city while having illegitimate cousins in other parts of the country. Zeeshanâs rolls are affordable, and the best part is that they know how health conscious you are, so theyâll spare you the barrel of oil and gunpowder fillings of spices.
6. Kolkata Biryani at Arsalanâs : A unique smell of desi ghee mixed with rich masalas and spices along with juicy, tender pieces of mutton cooked in rice and tava, this dish is something you cannot miss trying. You can try the Raan Biryani too, which is too mouth watering.

The above was our take on Kolkata local food tour in a day and we had awesome time while trying all the above with Sweets being our favourite.. Kolkata sweets are one thing which makes this whole city a little sweeter than others.. đ
What is your favourite place to have these dishes? Let us know in the comments!

Classic Chicken Pasta in Tomato Garlic Sauce

Itâs easy to look at pasta as that happy weeknight cure-all: the palette on which to throw any bits and pieces, to dress with the random things hanging out in the refrigerator, to just top with cheese and call it dinner. But there are some classic pasta dishes â or just really delicious ones â that we love having up our sleeves: the ones that can work as well on a weeknight or a tiresome lazyâŚ
