Importance of Strong mind (mind over matter)

The definition of mind over matter is "the use of willpower to overcome physical conditions or problems". The ability to keep going even when we are tired is a simple question of mind over matter. Having a strong mind means having great mental power which helps in keeping our emotions, thoughts, and action in control and helps us increasing our skills abilities, and knowledge, and makes us better performers. Nowadays people are not only looking for IQ but they are also looking for EQ, having a good EQ is important as it will determine how we are handling our emotions in different situations. Everything we do originates from our mind, different thoughts are going on at once and how we are deciding on them is what defines the emotional quotient of a person. Mind become strong over a period a person experiences various physical and emotional states like love, loss, pain, pleasure, addiction, depression, violence, insecurity, etc and based on these emotions and experiences, a person learns how to suppress, cope, express, and/or share our emotions with others, over some time they understand what is the right way to react in a particular situation. These situation makes our mind strong and its power to react A healthy mindset enables healthy behaviors and coping strategies, the benefits of which improve mental health and quality of life. This pandemic has been a roller coaster of an emotional ride for everyone, at the start of the pandemic people were emotionally weak and were very sad and depressed but as we can see now most people have got through with and are happy where they are, they have become mentally strong and the mind which was very negative at the start of the pandemic has now become very positive and made people understand how precious life is and how they can take care of themselves and their loved ones, pandemic also made people realize that they can be happy with the basic minimum they don’t need luxury for a happy and healthy life.

Mentally strong people are more confident and are not overwhelmed by emotions, they can become comfortable even in uncomfortable situations, their mind has no restrictions or limitations

The COVID-19 pandemic has created a negative impact across many industries and sectors. Almost all the sectors have been badly affected as domestic demand and exports sharply fell with some prominent exceptions where high growth was observed. Healthcare is one of the worst affected sectors as there is a shortage in supply but demand is very high. Due to covid19 people who are already suffering from serious disease including those who are suffering from kidney ailments are at great risk. Due to lockdown transportation, access to health care facilities, healthcare staff, and availability of medicines are highly affected. 7Med India is a patient-centric organization, their objective is to create a platform where renal failure patients could not only get quality treatment and related procedures. 7Med is giving its best to overcome these difficulties, the company is regularly hiring nurses, dialysis technician so that there is no shortage of healthcare staff, and also they are in regular contact with all of their centers to check if there any difficulties, and if something is there they trying to help them as soon as possible and also they are keeping their employees' safety priority and are helping the employees who are down covid, they providing all the basic requirements to them. All the departments of 7Med finance, marketing, and HR have come together to fight this pandemic as patients need is their top priority and they are doing their best so that patients don’t have to suffer. The company is fighting this situation very bravely and right now it is stronger than before because of all the support from the staff, as everyone is working towards one goal that is keeping patients' health priority.

Due to this pandemic, everything has come to a halt, The impact of the coronavirus pandemic on India has been most disruptive in terms of economic activity and also loss of human lives. After doing 1st year MBA online I was very excited for the internship period as this was the time when there was the chance of getting some practical exposure. But then I got my internship in 7Med and it was an online internship.  At first, online Internships did not seem like the ideal prospect, but I quickly changed my mind after talking with the HR manager here, because their vision for the company was very exciting and perfectly associated with my interests. They were also keen to participate in the company and make use of my skills. 

At first, I was a little overwhelmed that how will I manage everything online, HR is the profile that requires human connection and interaction, I was scared will I be able to learn anything. But then when the internship started everything started falling place, I got great support from the whole team of 7Med and especially my company guide. The internship has given me the confidence and ambition to succeed. I learned how technology can be a savior during this unpredictable time and because of this company I can say that I know how can I handle HR processes online. The online internship has made me a more patient person and enhanced my skill to work in a team can provide online internship at 7Med allowed me to learn and develop various skills that will help me in my future career path. I have learned many things from this entire experience that I wouldn’t have if life had carried on as normal. The last three months went smoothly only because of all the support i got from 7Med.
