I always will be fascinated by the fact, that it was JiYong who called SeungHyun in BigBang. Not cause he was his friend, - he called him cause he needed him as an artist, because if company wanted him to debut in idol group, there better be right people in it. He knew SeungHyun in his fat days and didn’t care, he helped him with his demo CD and it was it, the roots of something that lately grew up in what we now know as GD&TOP.

GD’s first impression of (and colors he uses to represent) T.O.P: I knew T.O.P in high school. He was a well known rival of mine back in the day but 3-4yrs after, I saw him by chance again and T.O.P greeted me first. That’s how we started talking. Hm..everyone must think that T.O.P is an especially good looking and perfect guy right? Actually he has a lot of weaknesses (laughs). I think that’s his charm though. As a color, he will be peach. It doesn’t matter if he’s there or not and even if you hear his voice…as long as you’ve seen & heard him once, you will never be able to forget him. I think that’s something that only T.O.P can do! TOP'S mom letter

Heres what TOP said after they read the letter:"I feel very sorry, and I feel like I showed her that I was frequently having a hard time.. yes, I feel like she saw me having many personal problems. It just makes me feel even more sorry that she had to write this letter because she was worried about me...that's what makes me tear up."

I know this isn’t really related to your blog, but I just love how fans defend Seunghyun with all their heart, even newer fans who don’t really know about the whole TOP archiving thing and just assume he deleted the post because of vape , they keep apologizing to him nonstop.(they're so cute🥹)

GTOP have their moments too (Part 5)

53. GD & TOP both walked into YGE together. A fan was behind them shouting, “Choi TOP TOP” TOP asked Jiyong, “What is Choi TOP TOP? Something new?” Jiyong replied, “Isn’t it you hyung?! It’s hyung!” & then TOP had a weird expression on his face…“Why am I called Choi TOP TOP….”

54. I forget if it was at a bar or? Jiyong was talking happily with Choi Seunghyun when a fan recognized Seunghyun and asked him for an autograph. Seunghyun stopped listening to Jiyong to cater to the fan and then I heard Jiyong say, “Choi Seunghyun listen to me!”

55. In 2008, during Freetempo’s performance, GD & TOP both went to watch it together but Jiyong wasn’t feeling very well that day. Everyone was having fun enjoying the performances but since Jiyong was sick, he was there doing simple applause and cheers. Seunghyun who, from the very beginning was worried about Jiyong kept looking at him to see if he was alright & then suddenly grabbed his hand and led him to a quiet spot away from the crowd. I could barely see what was happening but Seunghyun was trying to make Jiyong laugh by doing stupid things. After they got back, Jiyong laughed and made more of an effort to enjoy the performance.

56. During the filming of ‘Sunset Glow’ MV, the members high 5-ed and hugged each other at the end. Their order in standing positions were: Seungri - Daesung - Taeyang - TOP - GD. TOP high 5-ed GD. Once, when they high 5-ed each other, GD’s cap dropped on the floor. Another time when they high 5-ed & hugged, GD’s legs were wrapped around TOP’s but TOP didn’t let go. The final time when they hugged each other, GD turned 180 degrees and made the classic Titanic pose.

57. During the last filming of 'High High’ performance on MCD, some paper fell on Jiyong oppa’s face. TOP oppa helped him wipe it off. Jiyong’s eyes were shut tightly kk so cute~the both of them looked so sweet!

58. Before debut: Seunghyun and Jiyong were both inside the coffee shop when Jiyong said he was sleepy. Seunghyun took his bag out and told him to lay his head on it. Jiyong fell asleep on the bag while Seunghyun was eating a sandwich whilst listening to music. The waitress onnie said that scene was so warm.

59. A fan brought 2 candies: mango flavored and strawberry flavored & then said to TOP: Fan: Oppa, choose one! (but TOP took both.) Oppa, give one of them back to me! TOP: I didn’t take both Fan: But you did take it! Give one back to me! TOP: I didn’t take it… When she looked behind TOP, she saw Jiyong eating the mango flavored one…. 

60. After GD & TOP had an argument, TOP wanted to work things out so he took a 2 seater bicycle out to their dorm & said, “Sit here, Jiyong!” Jiyong sat at the back. TOP kept glancing at the back while smiling and kept saying, “Jiyong ah…doesn’t this feel so…” Jiyong’s face: =__=

Omgg Jaewon initially imitated Seunghyun's voice for fun having heard it frequently. During a rehearsal, the director found the imitation amusing and suggested incorporating it. This led to the development of a scene where Thanos is mimicked 😂

“You have no idea how much Seunghyunie hyung cared for me. Namgyu & Thanos had an inseparable bond, and I think Nam-gyu was able to be completed thanks to Seunghyunie hyung’s help.
