While this testimony isn't confirmed, I did see something that might explain what happened:

Thoughts on ahem…. The crew making sexual jokes when a child asked them about one of the character’s favorite animal?

They are fucking adults and that’s how they chose to respond to a child? A CHILD?

“The child shouldn’t even be there—!”

Right, but the CREW STILL ANSWERED THAT WAY TO A CHILD’S QUESTION. If it was a teen or an adult that asked it and got that response, whatever. But a CHILD?

Again? This is like what the second or third time this happened. In a vacuum: The parents, Galaxy con, and Spindlehorse are all irresponsible in their own ways. I do wonder what the age rating for this Helluva Boss con (and in general) was because it’s obvious that Vivziepop doesn’t want kids there (it doesn’t help that the kid is 11).

Tangent aside, what Bryce and especially Brandon did was so unnecessary. They didn’t need to make a sexual joke especially to an innocent question. Even Vivziepop replied that it’s a safe question.

The annoying part is that the response to said question could’ve been cute, lighthearted Stoliz banter over their favorite animals but Bryce and Brandon somehow fumbled it. Other than that, Vivziepop needs to talk to Galaxy Con about this and resolve it immediately.

Stupid now-one-sided response to a post I just saw but. Fuck AI. Even Viv's stuff is inherently better than AI because at least it's made by an actual person.

In fact, all bad art is inherently better than AI. AI art is so derivative, exploitative, and unoriginal that even a stick figure made by a 3 year old has infinitely more worth than an AI anime girl.

Rosie isn't, Mimzy is. I'm assuming Mimzy's hooked nose is supposed to look like a beak somehow, and maybe her headband feathers add to it?

Rosie only relates in the sense that both her and Mimzy play into antisemitic stereotypes (cannibalism, blood libel, and being a "Jewish Mother" archetype in her case and being greedy and scammy in Mimzy's)

She's apparently supposed to be a chicken, but Viv likely just said that to dismiss any antisemitism allegations related to Mimzy and Rosie's characters.

Hot take: As annoying as it is the Abel is yet ANOTHER whitewashed blonde...

I love his design ngl. He looks so joyous, and his arms actually kinda look chubby to match the rest of his body for once.

I really like his gold and red color palette, too! The red is a lot more pleasant than the ones Viv is usually obsessed with.

Also he generally looks really sweet, which makes me kinda anxious for how bad(ly written) his character will be in reality 😭

Why is Zoophobia!Satan's design way cooler than both HB!Satan and HH!Lucifer 😭

It's still a little difficult to look at with the lack of color variety, but the shape language is significantly better than both of Viv's later devil designs.

I know it's no secret in the community that Viv has gotten worse with designs as of late, and this design might not even be hers for all we know, but... jfc.

Another grammar nitpick that I'm not even bothering to make its own post:

"Y'all"... well, firstly, it's spelled "y'all", not "ya'll". More importantly, for someone who was insistent in giving the vast majority of the characters in this comic a slight southern accent for some reason, Viv did NOT know what "y'all meant"; it's supposed to be short for "you all", and therefore inherently plural, but this character (forgot his name tbh) is only referring to Cameron, and should've just said "you".

This will be my last grammar rant, don't worry; it just really messed with me as someone with a special interest in the English language ^^'

So, I've been reading Zoophobia because I figured it would be interesting, and... hoo boy, you can SEE the shift away from Cameron (and towards the highschool drama) once you even reach Chapter 2. It feels like Viv wanted to make a comic about her highschool-aged characters, which is just fine! Except for when you act as if it's not meant to focus on them.

Also, and this is both unrelated and EXTREMELY nitpicky, but...

This grammar is driving me insane. Especially because Zill is supposed to look intimidating here.

"You sure of that, squirt?" or "You're sure of that, huh?" would both sound WAY better.

And again-- I KNOW HOW NITPICKY THIS IS. And I'm also fully aware that my grammar isn't perfect either. But holy shit, this comic should've been proofread better.
