Was Rumi's dad even really a demon or were her patterns from the full weight of shame Celine forced on her? Obviously we learn through the movie that demons arent emotionless beings, just souless, so it's possible, but it was such a weird thing to toss in there. Like its way more likely Celine and her mom had a fallout over who her mom was seeing and then when they didn't make up before Rumi's mom died, Celine obviously couldn't face her own guilt and pushed the shame onto Rumi. Would also explain why Rumi has patterns and shame but doesn't hear/is controlled by Gwi-ma
