Don’t be frightened. My name’s Maria.

Hi guys! I wanted to show you the incredible new portraits and sprites made by @itz-pandora for When there’s light, there’s Shadow! And I thought a fun way to do that is by showing off this flashback scene of when Shadow first opened his eyes!

I decided to portray Shadow as being very easily frightened and timid just after being created. I imagine it would be very overwhelming and scary to just suddenly exist with full cognizance. He rarely talked, if at all, and would run when startled. Though by the events of game Maria has helped him come out of his shell and become more confident. 😄

This is just for concept though! Shadow’s awakening might change or be improved in the future. (I really hope you guys will like what I have so far though!)

I couldn’t be happier with how the new sprites and portraits turned out. They’re so lovely, and perfect in every way! If you want to see more amazing art please check out @itz-pandora’s blog! She’s very talented and deserves the recognition for the work she’s been doing! 😄😄

Hey guys! Here’s one of the activities Shadow can do with Maria! It’s a bit of a look into the ARK siblings’ dynamic and the silly kind of things they get up to.

So far I’ve finished two other activities the two of them can do together in the game, and I’m planning on adding a few more. The only issue is that one of them involves a change in sprites and I don’t have the skill to draw what I’m intending to make. So I’m not sure what to do there. Nevertheless I hope this funny scene makes you guys laugh! I know I did. 😄

(Also just a reminder, only Maria, Gerald, and other ARK residents were done by me. Everything else including Shadow’s sprite were free to use. Though I did edit the makeup and tiara. Sorry if it was poorly drawn though. Also, the option says “Dress up” but I meant to write “Makeover.” 😅)

Hello everyone! I know I haven’t been on here in a while I’ve been feeling really sick lately, lots of stomach problems and constant nausea, im going to see a specialist tomorrow so hopefully I can feel better soon. I was working on a drawing but I haven’t gotten around to finishing it since I got sick so I will give you a little sneak peek of it so far.
