tw: self harm, suicide mention

Hello. This post is going to be worded poorly due to confusion (Yes, I’m Googling and reading articles but I’m still confused) so any advice/corrections or criticism is welcomed but also understand that I’m not purposely trying to say/write potentially offensive(?) things/outdated/misinformation(?) I’m just really confused. Alright, let’s start.

I am twenty-one years old. I’ve been seeing a counselor and a psychiatrist for a couple of months (was seeing another people as well before I moved) and after doing several tests, I had an appointment today where my psychiatrist in a really confusing way said that I have Asperger’s(?)/wild autism/on the spectrum (all words he used) and that it explains my mood swings, self harm/suicide tendencies, lack of eye contact,etc but he doesn’t think prescribing me any medication will help. That it’s something that I just have to learn to accept(?) and there’s not much supports for me(?) but he’s going to get my counselor to set me up with a support group(?) and I’m really ???????? confused???? I wish I could have brought my mother so she could hear everything he said and explained it to me better but ???? What is Asperger’s and is the term outdated/offensive? Is it the same as being autistic? Does this count as a diagnosis? Are executive function disorders and dyscalculia a part of it(?) (My mother has been doing research on the side and thinks those labels(?) fit me(????) How does this affect/change my life from now? What should I do????

Winding down after a stressful day at work (had to report a co-worker because she’s been bullying me for over a month) by blasting a Big Time Rush album and alternating between playing Neopets and browsing the Build A Bear website.

- We played more Ice Cream Machine because I’m obsessed with the idea of getting top score. Our highest score so far is 3,140. The biggest challenge/annoyance right now is thinking that I have the character far away enough from the ice cream scoops but then I still get hit(?) It’s so annoying. But also fun. But also annoying.

- We read Directory Of Brightvale Potions and attempted to read About Roberta but Khaux didn’t want to read it.

- We played The Wheel Of Excitement twice. We didn’t win anything the first time but the second time, we won 225 NP.

- We visited the Giant Omelette! We received a Sausage Omelette!

- We visited Illusen’s Glade (I always forget where to find her for some reason) She’s the prettiest fairy in my opinion. We did a quest for her. She asked for Trilo Bite. We tried to haggle with a shop keeper and failed. But then we found one at a shop owned by (aopfai29) She gave us Cream Cookies in return!

Thanks to a helpful Tumblr, I figured out the problem with the games not loading! My browser was blocking Flash.

- Khaux and I went down to the Brightvale fruit market and supported their local farmers by purchasing some of their goods. We bought Cocorot (the picture for it is so weird) and Florange.

- Played several rounds of Ice Cream Machine. I’m actually not super great at it and my computer is my enemy for the amount that it lags but this game is so much fun. I used to play it so much as a kid. My mom’s favorite game used to be Destruct-O-Match. Even though I’m not good, my goal is to get top score some day. Another goal of mine is to play a different game every day because I realized that I haven’t actually played many of the games, I usually just kept to my favorites. Wouldn’t it be so cool if Neopets and Nintendo collaborated and released a collection of their games (like Fashion Fever, Destruct-0-Match, Ice Cream Machine, etc) for the Switch or something? I’d love that so much. I’d probably play them more if they were more portable.

I downloaded the Puyo Puyo Tetris demo on whim because I low-key want to try all the demos in the E-Shop, thinking that I wasn’t going to like it very much. But I kept losing/failing and it upset me that much, that I’ve been playing every day for a week in order to get better and long story short I’ve become really obsessed with the game out of spite.

I made a new Neopets account.

I’ve been feeling really restless and incomplete these days and kind of stressed from work these days, so I decided to have a little fun and make a brand-new Neopets account! I actually made one a couple of years ago and played with it for about a month straight before I forgot about it entirely, heh. 

This is my first/eldest son, he is a Gnorbu and his name is Khaux (I wavered between picking an actual Kau but I’m not too crazy about how the colors look on them) He’s very peaceful and lives in a nice little cottage in the forest where he grows in own vegetables and self publishes books on teaching others how to live their lives self sufficiently.  I’m planning on buying and reading him a lot of books. So far we’ve done the following things together:

- We read two books! Guide To Lupes and Mystery Of The Kougra Paw.

- Moved him into his new house in Brightvale. We considered Faerieland but came to the conclusion that Brightvale suits his minimalist personality/aesthetic more.

- Opened a bank account! I wanted to start this right away because ideally I’d like to put a little Neopoints into the account every day and eventually have enough for a paint brush! I’ve never owned a fancy paint brush in my entire life. The closest thing that I’ve come to, has been my IRL faerie Kougra plush (so cute) We choose a Neopian Student account to start with.

- Visited the Snowager. We actually managed to get something! We got a Snowball Fortress Foreground. It’s cool but it doesn’t match his aesthetic so I might open a store in the future and sell it. Or give it to a friend.

- Attempted to play some games but none of them are loading(?) for some reason. It’s kind of late so I’m not going to worry about it right now but I’m kind of disappointed because that’s usually how I would make Neopoints in the past.
