I used to be on a role play forum and had been role playing with one dude, saw he had YIM and decided to add him to talk to him. After a few months of conversation he admitted on the day I messaged him he was going to jump off a bridge, he said he was glad I reached out when I did it saved his life. He's doing a lot better now and been doing stuff he loves, he has friends and l at we talked he was dating. Small gestures, big ripples I got a few other tales like this. My own personal tale I was saved by a school friend who marched me to our deputy head teacher, she found out I'd been self harming and contemplating ending my life. Without her I wouldn't be here, because of her I got help.

…I almost killed myself

I put on my sunglasses, to hide my swollen eyes, over my tears. I cried all my makeup off. Went inside to have a milkshake. I don’t know why. I wanted something to drink as I figured out what I would do. I got a soda and a milkshake. Medium. The cashier looked at me and with a line around the corner of the counter he rushed away from the counter “Hold on “ he yelled to a coworker.

I filled my soda and went back and saw him looking all over. I go up and he gets close and says “I made it a large”.

That was seriously enough for me not to do it. His kindness. Someone went out of their way and as I went back in my car to cry I realized I could muster through a few other days. A few more weeks. Then I came down from that panicky high of anxiety, depression, and pain. I finished my shake. And it was enough time to let me feel better. I… I’m alive. I’ll make it through.

Try and be nice today. Tomorrow. Something as much as a smile. It helped so much.

Thank you man at McDonalds.

So I might get evicted

Due to the job I got after the other fell through still not paying me much and taking hardly much in the way of commissions for craig and I and the car situation, we haven’t been able to pay our rent yet. We have about $250 in the bank and need (probably with late fees) $750 in 3 days or they’ll be seeking legal action and eviction proceedings.

I didn’t get to do an art giveaway on my birthday so I am doing it for Halloween!

I will be doing sketch busts like the pictures in this post! You are welcome to choose a color for the background/circle thing, i just chose orange because it’s ~spooky~

HOW TO ENTER: simply like OR reblog (each one counts as an entry) this post. You do not have to be a follower of mine to participate. I will draw OCs and pre-existing characters/fanart. I will draw any gender, race, body type, or species! I will draw anthro, ghouls, monsters, and stuff like that too!

RULES: - no porny stuff (cute-sexy is okay). blood/body horror is a-okay!! It is Halloween after all! - you MUST have at least ONE reference of your desired character. Even rough sketches or ingame screenshots totally count! I WON’T work from a description or collection of pictures for me to put together. - I won’t draw in another style. - I will only draw fictional characters! (if you have a face claim for your desired character that’s totally fine)
