Okay so, we just got light and phone lines back, wtf was that?

Context: yesterday at 12:33 in the day the entirety of Spain lost all light and phone lines, the electric demand went from being met 100% to 0%, 15 GW of electricity was lost in 5 seconds (equivalent to 60% of the country's demand or 15 nuclear plants as far as it's been said)

We had a day, as you may imagine, and it spread to Portugal, Andorra and South France, pretty sure it would have gone further if France hadn't shut it down

We were incommunicated from Europe (and the World) for the entire day basically, we still don't know how it happened and there's two big unspoken hypothesis in the population: error or attack, the government isn't confirming nor denying any hypothesis (not limited to those two) so... Either way it was started in Spain and I'm not sure which is worse. Portugal said at a point that it was a weird atmospheric event fucking up our systems...

Ppl are already calling it the most recent Black Swan in our history, the Iberian Blackout and/or the Night of the Transistors.

To give you full perspective, we only had the radio, hospitals and such function on back up generators, all of our news were from radio; the traffic lights didn't work and ppl were trapped in trains in the middle of nowhere, metro, and elevators for hours, and even cable cars in the mountains for the night, they're only being helped right now.

We didn't have any casualties outside panic attacks, as far as i know, but I just woke up and haven't checked the news.

Idk if this is being reported internationally or not...
