Hey An American Tail fans!
I've unveiled the design for the new character Albert Dorset.
Born in a town in England, Dorset enjoys playing cricket (a bat-and-ball game similar to baseball) as well as a lawn game called croquet. When the Dorset family came to America, it seemed strange to young Albert, but he soon got used to it. The Dorset family settled in a mouse neighborhood around Hester Street in New York.
By the time Albert attended school in America, he quickly took interest in a sport that was similar to cricket - it was baseball.
The mouse boy was made fun of because of his size and the way he talked in his British accent. But Albert didn't give up; he proved himself by showing how well he can do at baseball thanks to his experience with cricket.
One day, Albert, along with Tony Toponi, helped convince his baseball team to let Fievel Mousekewitz join them and have him learn how to play. Eventually, the home team (with Fievel) wins the big game.
The events of Fievel joining the baseball team can be found in the An American Tail: Fievel's New York Tails episode "A Mouse In The Outfield".
Albert Dorset is part of Miss Emmental's class alongside Fievel & Tanya Mousekewitz and a girl mouse named Katharina.
Hope you like the character design for Albert Dorset as well as his backstory :)

Here's my new drawing of Fievel and Olivia together, this time with the art style more accurate from The Great Mouse Detective and An American Tail.
To achieve this result, I drew on John Pomeroy's animation work on Fievel in An American Tail and Mark Henn's animation work on Olivia in The Great Mouse Detective, including the opening sequence and the final scene where Olivia says goodbye to Basil and Dawson.

Support Rare Characters at Disneyland for the 70th Anniversary! 😊
Rare Characters at Disneyland for 70th Anniversary
Disneyland's 70th anniversary is coming in 70 days !
For this anniversary, you may be dreaming of meeting the rarest characters.
We hope that the rarest characters and those absent from Disney parks will be present at Disneyland for the park's 70th anniversary in California.
Here is the list of characters meet-and-greet who deserve their place at Disneyland on July 17, 2025 :
Dumbo (Dumbo)
Robin Hood, Little John, Friar Tuck, Maid Marian and Prince John (Robin Hood)
Bernard and Miss Bianca (The Rescuers)
Tod and Cooper (The Fox and The Hound)
Basil of Baker Street plus Dr. Dawson and Olivia Flaversham (The Great Mouse Detective)
Oliver, Dodger, Tito, Einstein, Francis, Rita and Georgette (Oliver and Company)
You can start a petition on Change.org to make this event more magical.
Here are the examples of the Disney characters who are now rare and have disappeared from Disney parks :
Let's start with Dumbo. Dumbo is one of the first Disney characters to be met at Disneyland when it opened in 1955.
He was mainly present in Disney parks until 1996 before disappearing from Disney parks, even though his appearances are extremely rare. Robin Hood characters are the rarest characters meet and greet in Disney parks. While Robin Hood, Little John, and Prince John make rare appearances in the parks, Maid Marian, who appeared in Disney Parks three times, has disappeared.
The other rarest characters in Disney parks are those from The Rescuers. Bernard and Bianca were mainly present at Disneyland, Walt Disney World and Disneyland Paris from 1977 to 2000 and today, they are only found at Tokyo Disneyland.
Orville, Evinrude, Madame Medusa, Nero, and Brutus were also present at Disneyland to promote The Rescuers, but they have now disappeared from the park. And finally, Basil of Baker Street and Professor Ratigan from The Great Mouse Detective.
While The Great Mouse Detective is a film filled with a wide cast of characters, Basil and Ratigan are the only two characters from the movie present at Disneyland and appeared in the music video for the song "Basil," performed by Douchka, Disney's ambassador in France from 1984 to 1989.
In 2004, these two characters disappeared from the Disney parks, including Ratigan, because he frightened young guests.
Today, we'd like to meet Basil again, this time accompanied by Dr. Dawson and Olivia Flaversham (with her coat with a brighter blue color than in the film, especially in the restored version of 2012 as was the case for Snow White for merchandising products), who were absent from the Disney parks for financial reasons at the time of the release of the film in 1986, which compensating for the commercial failure of The Black Cauldron, released the previous year.
Feel free to share my wish to rediscover the rarest characters in Disney Parks and those absent from Disney Parks who, I believe, will make their first appearances as meetable characters.

"When spring returned, the meadow came to life.
The creatures gathered for Hatching Dawn—
a week-long celebration of those soon to hatch into the world.
Milo and Ralph joined with joy, painting eggs—
a splash of colors for a season of hope."

Could you please draw the version of Bridget from my AAT85 AU?
Also, if I were to redraw the first picture, it'd instead say "Reagan is unfair".
