This is true. Johnny is Geoffrey's son. But he is not exactly a Landgraab. There are many rumours about his origins, however, in this universe…. Johnny really is related to this family. How? Let's go back 29 years. 16-year-old Nancy gets pregnant. Oops? Not for this family. The pregnancy manages to be kept secret and after the birth the newborn boy is given away. It would all work out if it weren't for the fact that the boy, 24 years later, finds out about the whole affair and demands his due fortune. From then on, everything changes. Except that Nancy doesn't know about anything. Geoffrey has been financing his son's whims for five years, doing everything to keep the truth from coming out.

Johnny lived modestly in a foster family, not far from his real family. The Landgraabs financed his education, the arrangement with the foster family was that the boy would get a job in his parents' company after graduation (without knowing the truth). Here, however, things got complicated. Johnny dropped out of school to become an artist - a comedian. The Landgraabs, Nancy's parents decided that in that case the deal was off and the boy was cut off from money forever. When the foster parents found out that Johnny had been officially disinherited, they were furious. Just as they were about to tell the world the truth, Johnny's foster father dies in the Copperdale mine disaster. After the incident, the mine was closed and the whole affair was swept under the carpet. His foster mother was scared, hid the truth from her son for years, fearing that the Landgraabs would hurt him too. Years later on her deathbed, however, she revealed to him the biggest secret of their lives. He decides to take advantage of this. His hatred of his real family drives his search for the truth as to how corrupt, evil and cruel the Landgraab family is. He even joined an association to expose the illegal activities of the Landgraabs.

Geoffrey: What do you want? More money?

Johnny: I want truth. You will tell the police about what you did and you will go down. Both you and Nancy.

Geoffrey: I am not a bad person Johnny. First and foremost I am a father and I will protect my Malcolm from what his grandparents did. And I was protecting you, son, from this family for years. We have put all that behind us. I know that leaving you along with it was wrong. I pay the price for that every day.

Johnny: Oh congrats for the dad of the year, the one that gives away his first born son. Don't be ridiculous Geoffrey. My real dad that raised me is dead, because of your family. And I want justice. You have a month to say goodbye to your life.

Geoffrey: Please take this money, maybe you will change your mind. Please don't hurt your brother, he is a good sim.

Johnny: You see Geoffrey, I don't want your money anymore. And I won't hurt your son. He deserves the truth as much as I did. I never got it from you, that is why I give you time to tell him what you did yourself.

Geoffrey stood and watched his unwanted son walk away. He thought he could hide the truth forever. After all, he had bought Johnny a flat in San Myshuno, arranged for him to perform at festivals, even took him to Selvadorada (he told his wife he was away on business). He never wanted to hurt his son. In this he was telling the complete truth. He was the one who managed to convince his in-laws to provide for his future. He repeatedly tried to take him back under their roof. Unfortunately, Nancy was her parents' daughter. Even after they were gone, she did not want to hear about the mistake she made years ago. She had a son, but only one.

And her son had just met his spoiled rich friends.

Malcolm: How about a trip to the bar? I know where they will sell us alcohol without IDs.

As he proposed, they all agreed. They went to the bar and Malcolm, wanting to please everyone, ordered the most expensive drinks for the whole pack of friends.

Hours passed, the youngsters drank more and more and had fun dancing. Malcolm rather sat mostly at the bar. He had no desire to dance, which irritated his girlfriend a little. She moved away from the group and had fun on her own. Malcolm entertained his friends by offering them more drinks. Then he saw Luna and Cassandra dancing and talking to some random townie. He was very irritated by this, as he had the evil trait. He was sure that the girl was flirting with the man and was about to cheat on him and make fun of him in front of the whole group. He dragged her in front of the bar and started an argument.

Malcolm: What do you think you're doing?

Luna: We were just talking. You know me and Cassandra want to move to San Myshuno to study, that man was just telling us about the city.

Malcolm: Stop lying you dirty slut! You wanted to woohoo him.

Luna: That's enough. I'm leaving. I really wanted to be with you Malcolm, but you will never change. You are a bad sim. Bye.

The girl disappeared from the lot and Malcolm was left alone with his thoughts. He knew he overreacted, but couldn't help it. He had been controlled by his emotions lately. He had never really considered what Luna might be feeling.

Afterwards, he called a taxi and went home. He didn't feel like partying any further with his friends.He managed to sneak inside the house so as not to wake his parents. In his room he was left alone with his thoughts.

The Landgraab family is the richest in the city. They own the energy company, the bank, the most important institutions, and have their people in all the most important positions in the country. For years, other sims have been afraid of them. The family hides all sorts of secrets that others don't know, don't want to know or pretend not to know.

After the death of her parents, Nancy became the head of the family. Together with the help of her husband Geoffrey (who is also (or mainly) her business partner), they have ensured that the family is extended. Their son Malcolm is a teenager, attending the best private school in town. When he comes of age, he will join the family business and he will dictate the laws and prices of the country.

One would think that all the private teachers, top schools and extra classes would prepare him for his business career in the best possible way. Nothing could be further from the truth. Not only does Malcolm not have any academic knowledge, he is also not wise in life. However, there is one problem. His father, who has joined the family and is not the original Landgraab, lacks that indifference to human injustice, lack of attachment to loved ones and evil that characterises the family. He loves his son the most in the world and would do anything for him. For 16 years he has been able to hide all his mistakes and learning deficiencies from his wife. Malcolm, therefore, was not a worthy successor to the family business, but Nancy did not know this. She was delighted with her son and fulfilled his every whim.

It was 15 March 2023, a sunny Sunday. Malcolm was practising playing the guitar his parents had given him for his 16th birthday. He had already received some private lessons, but wanted to practise on his own in the meantime.

Nancy: Son! You are wonderful. How beautiful is this music! I wish you could have been persuaded to take up the piano, but it's also a wonderful instrument to help develop your creative skills.

Nancy was not honest. She was only guided in life by what could give her profit. She was lying this time too. The music she heard from her son was awful and her snobbish personality only emphasised this in her mind. But she wanted to win her son's affection because it was important to her that they maintained a good relationship; he was, after all, her successor at the Landgraab Company.

Malcolm also tried to please his mother.

Malcolm: Thank you mother. Your opinion is most important to me.

After listening to her son's 'concert', Nancy went to prepare dinner. Despite their status, the family did not employ private cooks. Nancy loved to cook, so she did it herself.

At the time, Geoffrey was running errands. He received a message from a trusted member of staff that rumours of family scandals had started to appear on the internet.

Geoffrey: What is it Joe? Impossible, after all, no one knew about this construction site. I'm sure it's nobody from inside, probably someone from the outside must have sniffed it out. Call Fred and have him remove everything. People probably haven't noticed it yet. Besides, it's just social bunny, it's not like they're suddenly going to start talking about our petty scams on the news.

After disconnecting the call, Geoffrey started browsing the internet again. He received a message on his private email from an unknown sender.

"Hi old man. Do you remember that little thing? You see my patience has run out. I know about the accident in Copperdale. Let's meet up where we always do, talk it over. I'll be waiting at 4pm. J. "

Geoffrey: There goes that sh... again. Will it ever end? Fu... .

Then Nancy called everyone over for dinner. She made delicious dumplings with vegetables.

Nancy: Darling, is something wrong? You look sad.

Geoffrey: No darling, I just sat at the computer for too long. I need a break. I thought I'd head out to run some errands around 4pm if you don't mind.

Nancy: Of course not. I'd love to go with you, but Bella and Bess are coming, we're going to do yoga.

Malcolm: Where are you going dad?

Geoffrey was confused. He had not yet prepared in his head a lie about it.

Geoffrey: I'm going far, I'm going to collect planning permission for a new office in Newcrest.

Malcolm: Oh that's great, I wanted to meet some friends at the park in Oasis Springs. You'll drop me off, right? It's on the way.

The father was stunned. That's where he was supposed to meet J. But that couldn't come out. He had to protect his family from all this.

Geoffrey: Sure.

He'll think of something along the way. Then he got the message. "Hurry up old man, if you're late I'll send it to the newspaper, the one where you have no power."

After finishing lunch, men got into the car and drove to the agreed location. Geoffrey dropped his son off at the entrance, and drove further himself to hide the car and meet the mysterious sim.

He hid the car and ran as fast as he could. Fortunately his son was too busy with his friends and did not notice his father turning near the park.

Malcolm's friends were all rich teenagers from the country. His girlfriend, Luna Villareal came from the richest family in Windenburg. The youngsters were actually not very much in love, they were more united by common interests which suited their families. But they were nevertheless very committed to each other. Although they rarely did not meet alone and never kissed, they had a great friendship for many years.

By this time Geoffrey had arrived on site.

"Welcome, Father." he heard from the man in front of him.

Geoffrey: Good afternoon Johnny.

#5 Melisa’s story (part 4 - last)

"Eligio was furious with Paloma. He never forgave her for abandoning us on a foreign planet. I was also angry with her at the time... We were just children.

After a few days we got a message from Rufus that there was a flat waiting for us in San Myshuno. He helped us pay the rent for the first few months. I was just a child who was once enthralled by the Planet Earth. San Myshuno was a unique city to me. There were many cultures and they all were fascinating. (Although being non-human is not welcome here. They accepted occult sims - but you should be an occult at home, never be proud of it.)

Eligio arranged everything with the landlord, because he already knew how to change into the human form. We could move in immediately."

"I remember asking him if we have to stay here for a long time. Then he just shrugged his shoulders. We were sure we would be back home in a couple of weeks when things had calmed down."

"Our first flat was… okay. It wasn’t dirty but it was very old and empty. We never sought renovation because, as I mentioned, we were sure it was only a temporary situation."

"Eligio taught me to change into human form. He was a good teacher. Understanding magic came extremely easily and quickly for me. However, our skills and weakened magic slowly weakened without contact with our planet and we weren’t able to modify the disguise. Therefore, we chose forms that were to remain with us for the rest of our lives."

"Eligio: You can do it Mel! Come on, remember about the connection. Try to feel every cell in your body and turn them. Think about how your human form should look like and say the spell."

"Melisa: Eli I did it! I am a human! I am a H U M A N! Eligio: I knew you can do it!"

"The next days, weeks, years were hard for us. I was going to the elementary school in San Myshuno, Eligio got a job as a seller at food stands at festivals."

"Every night we talked for a long time about the future. Whenever I asked when we would return home, he replied that it would soon be over..."

"... but he knew it wasn't true. He stopped waiting for Paloma. He had lost all hope and the only thing that kept him going was me."

"Years have passed. We were still in the same place. I have learned to live among people..."

"... Eligio never did. He used his powers to steal from people and sell suspicious human substances."

"He became addicted to them, but I pretended that I didn't know. That was his secret."

#4 Melisa’s story (part 3)

"We managed to get to the city without meeting Varius’ supporters. We also found the building that Paloma showed us.

Eligio: Mel, whatever happens, remember I love you. Melisa: I love you too big brother.

Then he knocked on the big door."

"The man who opened the door for us was grey-skinned and had yellow eyes. He must have been the witcher aunt Paloma told me about some time ago. He was her loved once.

Rufus: Welcome kids, were you followed? My name is Rufus. Eligio: We were not. We need your help, our fath…"

"Rufus: I know, I spoke to Paloma. Follow me, quickly.

The flat was small and full of antiques. It rather didn't look like the average flat on Sixam, but its owner wasn't an alien. Rufus approached a bookshelf and uttered a spell. The bookshelf suddenly moved."

"After we told him the whole story in detail, he gave us instructions on what to do once we reach the planet. We were to find a small hut nearby. There we had to wait for further instructions from Paloma.

Rufus: It can tickle a bit.

And he casted a spell"

"Suddenly we felt grass under our feet. Everything was green. The stars in the sky did not shine as brightly as on our planet, but they were just as beautiful and just as weepy over the death of once immortal souls. We landed on planet earth."

"We found the hut and spent a night here. We waited for instructions from our aunt but never received them."

"She decided to kneel before the new king. Something Eligio never forgave her for afterwards.

What he didn't know, however, was that she did it to protect us."

#3 Melisa’s story (part 2)

"After the festive dinner, when all the guests had left the castle, the king and queen rested on their thrones. Order was guarded by two knights. One of them was the king's brother - Varius Vay."

"He had always been jealous of my father's position. He couldn't become a king, because he was born second (like me). He became an advisor to the king and commander of the Royal Guard. But living in his brother's shadow did not appeal to him."

"That night it came to light that he had been secretly studying dangerous magic. Aliens are immortal, only inaccessible old magic can kill them. He used it on the other guard and turned to attack my father.

Varius: Funny how it all ends. Glorius: Stop this madness! Let’s talk!"

"Varius: This is the beginning of a new era. My followers have already started a war on the planet. Farewell "righteous" king.

Then he finished what he started. He used the dark magic on both King and Queen. By the time we realised what was happening, it was too late."

"It was a moment. We were all shocked. I fell to my knees and felt as if, along with my parents, part of my soul had also disintegrated."

"Eligio: You will pay for it!

Eligio threw himself at our uncle. I couldn't see exactly what was happening, but suddenly I heard my aunt cast a spell. She saved us that day. Uncle was too powerful and we were broken."

"Eligio: WHAT! What happened, where are we, Mel are you okay?I don’t feel so good. Paloma: Calm down Eligio! You need to listen to me. Nothing will be the same now. You need to run. I will tell you everything you need to do. My friend will help you both."

"Eligio: Wait, how do you know what to do?! Did you help him?! Paloma: I loved your father more than anyone. I always supported him! I told him we can’t trust Varius, he didn’t listen to me. Everyone knew he has supporters and we had to be prepared."

"Paloma showed us what we need to do and who we need to find. She also gave us some clothing to hide our faces, because Varius’ supporters could find us."

"Paloma: Stay strong beautiful princess. I will join you soon. I will help you both on Earth."

#2 Melisa's story (part 1)

Castle:

"I remember that the castle had so many stairs you could go around it all sixam-day. It also had so many different beautiful decorations…"

Mother:

"My childhood was good but my mom never had time for me. She was always busy. I spent almost all my toddler days with the royal nannies"

Eligio:

"Me and Eligio were best friends growing up. He is older but we shared the same life stage for some years. We played a lot together and he was always there for me."

"We often snuck out of the castle together to play with other children in the playground. Those were the best days of my life."

"We promised each other that nothing would ever separate us"

"As long as the stars shine in the sky, we will be together"

School:

"Eligio was being trained to be a future king, which is why I had to study alone. Regular lessons about plants and animals were boring. I was always only interested in magic. The real magic. But I was not allowed to learn it until I was a teenager."

Paloma:

"I loved spending time with my father’s sister - auntie Paloma. Her room was full of plants and flowers she brought from Earth. She was a traveller, she visited all the planets and realms. She also was a powerful witch. I loved listening about all those places all night”

"But if everything was so perfect, how did we end up on sim-earth?

#1 New beginning

Melisa: I can’t believe we had to switch places again. Why didn’t you pay the rent? Eligio: Please calm down Mel, you know it’s not that easy. Melisa: It IS that easy. Look at this place! It’s awful. It’s all your fault.

Eligio: I can’t believe you’re blaming me. You know it’s not my choice to be here. We both miss home and I really tried!

Eligio: I had an argument with the flat owner, my power stopped working and he saw me trying to change his thoughts again. You know supernatural sims are not welcomed in San Myshuno. We had to leave. I found this place on social bunny and it’s so much cheaper. We will be okay.

Melisa: I’m sorry Eli. I didn’t know… I miss home too much and get angry too easily. Eligio: That is okay sissy. Let’s go unpack, I’m so hungry!

Alien sims are more likely to stop fighting when they both feel sorry. They can feel each other’s thoughts.

They entered the house.

Melisa: OH MY! This place is so dirty! Eligio: …not that bad, it was advertised that the owner died 15 years ago. Melisa (thinking): He died here? Eligio: Look he even had a computer, maybe it’s still working! Melisa: I will go upstairs and check if there’s a bathroom here.

While Melisa was upstairs, she changed into her alien form. Alien sims have to change from their human forms every 24 hours because the spell they’re using is not strong enough. Before they change again they need to rest.

Eligio also changed into his alien form. He isn’t as strong as Melisa think he is. He’s only 5 years older than her and had to not only be her brother but also be her father when they ran away. Earth was too much for him. He tried many things to feel better. Not always legal…

Melisa had a difficult time too, but because she was still young and had her older brother when they had to leave, she learned how to be a human. But she never stopped wondering how life would look like if *that* day never happened…

Meet main characters!

Main characters are Melisa May 3004 (left) and Eligio May 3004 (right). Those are their sim-human and sim-alien forms.

They are Royal Alien-Sims who had to leave Sixam because of war that was started by their uncle.

Their names meaning:

Melisa is a feminine name of Greek origin, meaning "bee." Formed from meli, the Greek word for “honey”.

Eligio is a masculine name of Latin and Spanish origin that means “chosen one”.

May - It's a tradition on Sixam to give the child a second name (that is the same for all children of one man/woman) that represents a generation of a family. All Royal Family generation names end with -ay which stands for "born under the happy moon".

3004 - Everyone on Sixam has a family name that is a number. Alien sims love to keep everything organized, that is why they use numbers to count everything on their planet. The Royal Family is 3004. This number means "Power and Wisdom" in Simlish and "Never Stop Becoming Better" in other cultures.

Important!: Alien sims have immortal souls. After they become old and are unable to work - they travel to live as free souls in the holy lands of Sixam. They never die, they can transform into fantastic creatures or just become one with the planet.
