But I'm back! Of course, until spring break my uploads won't be as consistent as I wish it would be, but that's only a month or 2 away.

ʚɞ ⁺˖ ⸝⸝ AAAAA So Sorry for not posting today !!! I had to pick out gifts so I was at the mall for most of today. Until tommorow, just enjoy these lil whispers I like. Also, I'm thinking about how I might become more of a morute blog, mainly because of the positive response I've been getting about it, but also because I want to talk about some opinions I hold about things in the community, along with its sister communities.

ʚɞ ⁺˖ ⸝⸝ I feel like I'm becoming more of a morute blog rn so I'll try to variate my posts a bit more !! Also regarding my last post I'm happy about how well received it was (which made it my most liked post yipee) ♡. I was afraid that I was going to receive extreme backlash, especially with how the communities I was talking about tends to react to different opinions (no hate if you're in any of them). However, it's just been the first couple of hours.

POC Morute + A Rant ♡

ʚɞ ⁺˖ ⸝⸝ As a POC I've noticed in not only just morute community but also its sister communities such as angelcore, coquette, ect. is that it was a seemingly obsession with extremely pale skin. This is especially prevalent in morute with the want to look "as pale as a ghost", however it's also praised in other communities for being "so angelic". I really just find this wrong imo due to it being reminding of how for the longest time POC were put down (and are still being put down) for having darker/tanner complexions while pale skin was seen as some sort of "angelic, holy" skin. Yes, it's alright to find pale skin nice and pretty, but you also have to understand the history behind putting pale skin on such a pedestal and the implications that carries, especially in history.

ʚɞ ⁺˖ ⸝⸝ I also feel like this sets up an unhealthy beauty standards, since most people (unless you're born with extremely pale skin) have to bleach their skin in order to reach that standard, which has many negative health effects.

♡ Morute Appreciation Post ♡

ʚɞ ⁺˖ ⸝⸝ I feel like morute is so underrated despite being very prevalent in the media n stuff through singers such as Melanie Martinez who has a much similar style to morute. I absolutely adore the sophisticated but yet innocent vibe, the washed out pastels, & dark undertones of this aesthetic so much. I think I'm more of a cutecore + morute blog tbh because I love both of these aesthetics so much it's hard to chose just one. ♡
